11 bit Studios has released its latest DLC for survival strategy Frostpunk. The Last Autumn takes place before the apocalypse that threatens humanity as players will lead engineers in the creation of a Generator. Said Generator will help humanity stay warm in the main story and so the stakes are fairly high. Check out the launch trailer below.

Along with new buildings, players will also have to use different tech to get by. Such technology relies on steam and thus players will have to use different strategies to achieve their goals. A new Book of Laws will help in that respect though you might find yourself making tough decisions, like siding with the engineers over the workers, in some situations.

Frostpunk: The Last Autumn is currently available for PC via Steam. It’s include with the Season Pass which is currently discounted by 30 percent. The base game (which is pretty good – see our review) has also been discounted by 60 percent. Another expansion, Project TVADGYCGJR, is slated to release this year so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

11 bit Studios’ traipse with post-apocalyptic winter survival continues as Frostpunk is set to receive a new expansion. The Last Autumn will release on January 21st 2020 for PC and offers quite a bit for players to sink their teeth into. Check out the trailer below.

Taking place before the disaster that saw the Earth frozen, The Last Autumn focuses on Site 113 as it tries to create the iconic Generator in time. Along with a new setting, buildings and technologies, there are also new Books of Laws to incorporate. There only 45 days to construct the generator so best make it happen if humanity is to survive the next Ice Age.

Frostpunk: The Last Autumn will release first for PC in January 2020. It will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 later. The base game is currently discounted by 60 percent on Steam while the Game of the Year Edition – which includes the game and Season Pass – is currently 47 percent off till December 19th.

11 bit Studios isn’t quite done with its post-apocalyptic survival strategy Frostpunk. Several free updates later, it’s announced a $25 Season Pass which adds a new Endless Mode map called The Rifts and two expansions due in 2019 and 2020. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The Rifts is available immediately upon purchasing the Season Pass and along with a new map, it includes a new building to construct along with some new mechanics. Essentially, players can create bridges to cross rifts on the map and expand into new areas. The first major expansion is called The Last Autumn and it serves as a prequel. It’s out in Q4 2019 for $16.99.

The second expansion is Project ‘TVADGYCGJR’ and it’s out in 2020 for $12.99. No details have been provided about the same so we’ll have to wait. Purchasing the Season Pass saves you $10 off of purchasing each DLC separately and you also get the official digital OST and artbook for free.
