Players in Assassin’s Creed IV can now find hidden treasure maps and secrets. Once the player follow the clues properly and find his/her treasure then they will be rewarded with either a new upgrade for their ship or something for Edward Kenway.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is an open world game and features over 50 unique locations that can be found throughout the game and explored for their deep hidden secrets. There are no loading times in the game and everything is seamless which makes the exploration aspect even more immersive than it was in previous titles and even other games.

Check out this new gameplay video from Devil May Cry, developed by Ninja Theory. In this video, you can see the floors attacking Dante, and one of them even saying, “FUCK YOU!” Wait what? Yes. You can see that in the video.

Ninja theory seems to be bringing a whole level of awesome to this game, and while I was sceptical before, I certainly am not now when it comes to this game.

A 10 minute long video showing multiplayer gameplay footage taken from the ongoing beta has been posted on YouTube, showing an entire match of a game mode known as “Easy Deathmatch”.

It looks great, and closer to the single player experience than ever before.

IGN has published a 45 minutes long gameplay video of Dead Island, showing a whole lot of gameplay (duh). It looks really good, though people who don’t want anything spoiled might to stay clear, coz there’re a lot of spoilers in there.

The video shows you entering the hotel, meeting other survivors, and stepping out into the open world to encounter the first zombies. It’s really good. You should have a look.

Capcom has gone berserk and released an hour and ten minutes long gameplay video of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 from its gamescom live feed. It’s awesome, and even though we’ve basically played this game this very year, it’s got me excited.

2K Games has release a 20 minute playthrough of the upcoming game XCOM which is a kind of hard to explain Sci-Fi shooter like no other. The narrated playthrough helps us understand the game more as well as the official commentary below.

Hey folks,

So we’ve been flying under the radar with XCOM, for about a year – and felt that it was about time to put together a little video update in order to lift the curtain on the reasons why.

2K Marin had just finished working on BioShock 2, and that game will always be deep in our DNA – but our first crack at adapting XCOM to a more personal, real-time experience was way too much within our creative ‘comfort zone’. It was kind of a run-and-gun affair, without a lot of focus on the command of your squad, or indeed on tactical play itself.

Candidly, it just wasn’t “XCOM” enough for the hardcore fans of the original games at 2K Marin, who serve as our creative conscience. So over the past year, we’ve made some pretty aggressive design changes, in pursuit of the feelings that we experienced when we played the original games. I’ll cover those in the video itself, but a quick note about story:

Narratively, XCOM is an all-new origin story in its own timeline; a deliberate reimagining along the lines of something like Battlestar: Galactica or Batman Begins. What that means in practical terms is that while we take narrative inspiration from the original games, we have also deviated in a couple of key ways. For example, our game is set in 1962 within the continental United States – at the moment the XCOM organization is formed.

We wanted to tell the story of the first man on the ground – exaggerating cold-war fears about invasion from within – via this alien threat for which there is no precedent. And we felt the best way to express that kind of intimate take on the XCOM universe is from that character’s perspective: limited information, overwhelming odds, and direct personal involvement.

In our XCOM, you play William Carter, Special Agent in Charge of field operations at XCOM. So as you start up the video, I’d like you to slip into his shoes as he reviews a piece of evidence which was discovered somewhere out there in mid-century America.

The demo of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations that was recently shown at Gamescom has been released as ten minutes of awesome gameplay footage, with developer commentary to boot.

Game releases in November on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

THQ has released a full, twelve minute long gameplay video of Metro: Last Light. This is the demo footage that was shown at E3 and at gamescom.

BioWare has released an all new gameplay video for their upcoming Mass Effect 3 along with these all new screens. The video shows Shepard and his squad fight against a Cerberus troop and in the end a Cerberus mech. It’s pretty awesome, you should check it out.

Nintendo has released ten minutes of gameplay footage of Xenoblade (or Xenoblade Chronicles) in anticipation of its European release. It shows a side quest, with some great vistas and scenes. It’s worth watching, really, so watch the video above.

Reggie Fils-Aime has said that Nintendo of America will release Xenoblade in the US if the European version does well.
