With next gen right around the corner, all of us have all sorts of wishlists in our minds, and most of them, of course, are all about the thing that matters most- the games. There’s so many games we’d like to see on next-gen platforms, so many franchises we’d like to see making a return. In this feature, we’ll be talking about fourteen sequels to Microsoft-owned franchises that we’d like to see on the Xbox Scarlett, at one point or another.

Some of the games we’ll be mentioning will be obvious picks, the kind that will inevitably show up sooner rather than later, while others will be more out there, as hopes and dreams go. In all cases though, keep in mind that this is a wishlist, not a prediction list. With all that out of the way, let’s get started.

HALO WARS 3

Halo will, of course, be a major presence on Xbox Scarlett – it’s launching with the next big Halo title, after all – but we’d like to see more from the franchise on the console than just its mainline games. Halo Wars started as an interesting strategy offshoot, and though the first game was definitely a flawed one, it showed plenty of promise. Halo Wars 2 made good on a lot of its potential, and was a much better game than any of us were expecting it to be. Our hope is that Microsoft will continue to invest in this branch of Halo, and allow Halo Wars to continue its upward trajectory with a third game.

A Gears of War bundle will be releasing in February, compiling both the Gears of War games, and it will be priced at the extremely cheap price point of $29.99. A GameStop rep told this to CVG, saying that it will be releasing on the 16th of February.

This compilation was listed and then swiftly removed on the GameStop site during the Holiday breaks. The listing said that the bundle would be released on the 15th, not 16th, and that the price would be as mentioned above.

This bundle has been confirmed by Microsoft on IGN. However, they have not revealed if the bundle will have a Gears 3 beta code.

He says their main focus will be to re-work the story and bring the budget of the movie down. The original budget of $100 million was a bit too much, and seemed a huge risk to several studios, says Blaszinski.

Fans can decide if Clayton will meet a fate similar to that of his two brothers, who met bloody deaths in Gears 1 and Gears 3, by purchasing Avatar items online (You think you’re good business men MS? EH?!).

Two new  Avatar T-shirts, one of them reading “Save Carmine”, while the other will read “Carmine must die”, will be availible online starting July 29. You know buying each T-shirt will end up with what outcome. Buy “Save Carmine” to let Clayton live, and buy “Carmine must die” to see his head get ripped off  via a chansaw.

Epic says all the money they gain via the new Avatar T-Shirts will be donated to Child’s Play Charity. Good people, these. Probably have a halo atop their heads, something which us frivulous mortals are unable to see… sigh…
