Capcom’s Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, a reimagining that pays home to Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, releases today for the Switch. It will be available for download via the Nintendo eShop. Check out the launch trailer below to see how its new storybook-style visuals.

The story once again sees Arthur, the brave knight, venturing through the Demon Realm to slay the Demon Lord. Several iconic foes like Pigman, Red Arremer and more make a return while, enhanced through the game’s new visual style. Of course, you can also expect bosses like Cyclops and Shielder as well. Along with all of this is the addition of co-op mode with three new characters. Barry can generate barriers while Archie can construct bridges. Kerry, meanwhile, can lift Arthur.

Though Arthur has new weapons at his disposal, like the Hammer and Spiked Ball, the difficulty will still be fairly harsh. Thankfully, there are three different modes to choose from – Squire, Knight and Legend – along with Page Mode which offers unlimited lives. You also respawn in the same place you died.
