GoNNER 2, a sequel to Art in Hearts’ quirky procedurally generated platformer, is now available. Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch players can pick it up today and play as Ikk once more. It’s also available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on console – check out the launch trailer below.

The story sees Ikk helping out Death who needs help dealing with a “mysterious presence.” That means traversing through all kinds of bright and colorful environments, dealing with imaginative bosses and managing all of the chaos. Along with being procedurally generated, levels are also non-linear which means more than one path for progressing forward.

GoNNER 2 also features new upgrades, new guns and new heads to unlock in addition to new secrets and challenges. There’s even party co-op that allows for venturing forth with friends. It’s set to release for PS4 and Xbox Game Pass for PC as well but at a latter date. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Art in Hearts’ GoNNER 2 releases on October 22nd, according to the developer and publisher Raw Fury. It will be available on Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch while also launching on Xbox Game Pass. It will arrive for PS4 and Xbox Game Pass for PC down the line.

GoNNER 2 follows the first game and sees Ikk helping death after a strange presence invades his lair. This means more crazy (and aesthetically appealing) colors and procedurally generated environments to go with the roguelike platforming action. Levels are nonlinear, meaning you can plot your own path throughout all of the madness.

Players can also unlock new guns and upgrades along with new heads. There are various secrets and mysteries to discover, though what exactly those are remains to be seen. Art in Heart has revealed a sequel for GoNNER, it’s trippy roguelite platformer that first released in 2016 for PC. GoNNER 2 will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch later this year. Even with all the time that’s passed, the aesthetic looks even more colorful than ever.

Protagonist Ikk returns and he needs to help Death. A strange presence has taken over her home so it’s up to Ikk to venture through procedurally generated levels and shoot a number of foes. There are also a variety of surreal bosses to face (though we’re not quite sure who classifies as such in the new trailer).

Along with roguelite elements, GoNNER 2 will have a nonlinear structure, allowing players to choose their own paths. You’ll find new guns, heads and upgrades to utilize.
