SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN WALKTHROUGH

Yes, there is still a single player mode in this game, though it is nothing like the great, content packed single player campaigns and modes that the previous games used to have. It’s far more stripped back, and also lacks the nuance of GT Mode. Nevertheless, if you need help making your way through it- and there is no shame in that- then here is a video walkthrough for it.

BASIC TIPS AND TRICKS

Okay, so once you start actually playing this game, you will find that it is rather different from other titles of its ilk- that includes other racers (including other equivalent sim racers like Forza) as well as other Gran Turismo games. So you might find yourself not doing as well as you are used to in these titles- that’s where we come in with these tips and tricks.

• PRACTICE: Goes without saying, right? You need to learn how the game and its mechanics work before you go online for some real racing. Which brings me to my next two points:
• FINISH THE CIRCUIT EXPERIENCE FIRST. This is a part of the career mode- you want to spend some time here trying to get a gold on everything before you even think about going online
• DO SOME LAPS IN YOUR OPPONENTS’ CARS. Basically, understand their cars. Understand what they are good at, and what they are not- if, for instance, you know that they are weak with cornering and turns, use that to your advantage when you actually race your opponent
• ADJUST TRACTION CONTROL ON THE FLY. Traction control can help you have a better handle and grip on your car- use the D-Pad from within the cockpit view to adjust it as you race, and change it often.

FASTEST WAY TO EARN MONEY AND CREDITS

Put simply, you need money to buy cars, and you need a wide range of cars to do well in this game. So how do you go about earning money? Surprisingly enough, not by playing the multiplayer races. Those turn out to be the slowest way to accrue cash at a meaningful pace. Instead, try the following tips and tricks:

• The Circuit Experience. Yes, again. You see, getting a Gold ranking for each sector of the track will earn you around 40,000 credits, and racing the full lap will earn you even m0re- this makes this the fastest way to earn credits in the game. Sadly, the Circuit Experience is very hard- so keep that in mind.
• Complete Mission Challenge and Driving School. An individual challenge or task in and of itself isn’t worth much- but sheer volume can be your friend here.

FASTEST CAR IN THE GAME

While there are many cars for you to choose from in Gran Turismo Sport, there is one car that rises above all the others, with 2500+ HP and a bone shattering top speed: the SRT Tomahawk VGT, which goes up to 611 km/h. Don’t believe us? We have proof.

ALL CARS IN THE GAME

180 cars definitely isn’t as much as the series is known for having- it’s actually about a 10% of the total cars that Gran Turismo 6 had, as an example. But it’s still enough that trying to keep track of them all can make your head spin. Thankfully, you don’t have to- the video below walks you through literally every single car that there is in the game. Over time, more cars will be made available as DLC.
