Nvidia have created a monster.

As expected, Nvidia have finally announced the Nvidia GTX 1080, and… hot dayum, is it a beast of a GPU. The GeForce GTX 1080 features Pascal architecture, 16nm Finfet, 8 GB of GDDR5X RAM, and in what is extremely rare for a GPU, a beautiful external design, that makes the product feel high end right as soon s you get it out of the box.

Of course, to PC gamers, it’s what on the inside that matters, and the GTX 1080 is a beast in that regard- it is far faster than two GTX980 cards (Nvidia’s previous flagship) in SLI, and faster than even a Titan X- making it one of the fastest single GPUs ever created.

Alongside the GTX1080, the GTX1070 was also announced. Both will be available on May 27, for $599 for the 1080, and $379 for the 1070- which may seem high, but c’mon, these things are worth it. If you don’t believe us, then check out the spec sheet below.
