NCsoft and ArenaNet, the developers of Guild Wars 2, are excited to announce the first public Beta Weekend Event for Guild Wars 2. From 27th-29th April, hundreds of thousands of fans who have pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 will get their first chance to explore the world of Tyria.

The only way players can guarantee access to Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase the Guild Wars 2 Collector’s, Digital Deluxe, or Standard/Digital Editions. In addition to access to our Beta Weekend Events, players will receive three-day Headstart Access prior to launch and the exclusive Hero’s Band in-game item.

NCsoft today launched its range of pre-shopping for Guild Wars 2. Gamers who will pre-purchase Collector’s Edition, Deluxe Digital or Standard Edition Guild Wars 2 will receive access to all weekend beta test and three days of early access to the game before launching.

The different edition will include:

Standard Edition:

• DVD case with booklet
• Activation Code Guild Wars 2 (to activate the game at launch)
• Guaranteed access to beta events of Guild Wars 2
• Three days of early access to Guild Wars 2 before launch
• Exclusive in-game item: Ring of Hero.

Deluxe Digital Edition:

• A model of 25 cm, hand painted, of Brimstone Rytlock brandishing his flaming sword.
• A bound book of 112 pages Designing Guild Wars 2
• CD Best of Guild Wars 2 Soundtrack
• A framework for a portfolio of lithographs with five lithographs and Guild Wars 2
