With that out of the way, let’s begin:

God of War: Ragnarok

Sony Santa Monica delivered an excellent reimagining of God of War with its 2018 reboot which masterfully combined sincere storytelling with adrenaline-pumping gameplay. Those familiar with the game would know that the story ended on a cliffhanger, and naturally – fans are more than excited to see the narrative unfold with the sequel. The aptly titled God of War: Ragnarok will continue the adventures of Kratos and Atreus as they bring about Fimbulwinter. God of War: Ragnarok releases on 9 November 2022 for PS4 and PS5.

The third person action shooter will launch in November. The announcement comes via Gamescom, and was accompanied with a new trailer, which briefly sets up the games story and introduces its main characters and central antagonists. There’s also a few brief glimpses of gameplay and combat in there. Check it out below, courtesy of IGN.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. is the first new instalment in the series since Gungrave: Overdose came out for the PS2 eighteen years ago, in 2004. With its focus on explosive combat and high-octane action, it certainly seems to be capturing the vibe of its predecessors.

It’s out on November 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

As Grave, players will use a transforming coffin and twin pistols to battle with. Along with human enemies, supernatural foes like the undead and mechs must also be hunted. Some scenes can get especially ludicrous with Grave conjuring up a giant bullet and firing rounds into an entire room of enemies. It’s a lot to take in visually, but the project does have Ikumi Nakamura of Ghostwire: Tokyo fame involved.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. is a third-person action shooter that sees players taking control of a vampire hunter performing slick action moves while mowing down groups of enemies in a ludicrous fashion. There’s shooting using guns alongside some slick melee moves. There are multiple varieties of enemies, of course, and taking each of them down seemingly requires different tactics.

Gungrave G.O.R.E will be releasing some time in 2022 for all major consoles and PC. The Gungrave franchise has been dormant for a long time now, and fans naturally have a lot of expectations from the game. From what’s known about the game, it certainly looks promising – and hopefully, manages to turn out great. The game is being published by Prime Matter, which is the latest publishing label under Koch Media.

Gungrave GORE is a shooter from Iggymob, and will have players jumping and shooting a bunch of enemies as what looks to be a vampire hunter. Gungrave has mostly remained dormant for quite some time with the exception of Gungrave VR. Fans of the franchise seem to be optimistic about the revival, and hopefully the game meets all expectations. Details on the gameplay front remain scant for now, so stay tuned for more updates.

Gungrave is being published under Prime Matter, which is the newest publishing label from Koch Media. Gungrave GORE releases for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S sometime in 2022.
