You step into the shoes of an unnamed cowboy, complete with a sinister black outfit and horse, prowling a Frontier that’s been overrun by monstrosities that you’re going to have to bring down with your guns. An interesting bullet management mechanic seems to be at play in this title that’s being pitched as the “first Soulslike FPS”.

If you’re thinking about scoffing at that claim, the trailer does showcase some deadly enemies and bosses that come with attacks designed to throw you off your aim and send your bullets whizzing safely past their heads. Of course, you’re certainly up to the challenge if the ominous narrator who sets the scene for what unfolds is right.

We’re quite impressed by the world-building on display, and the gritty art style that makes everything around you feel desolate and grim, the perfect setting for battles that end in either life or death. Of course, there has to be a resurrection mechanic letting you spawn back in case you die, which we suspect is going to happen a lot if this one is as tough as it looks.

This one’s certainly interesting, and is slated for a 2026 release on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
