Another month down means yet another month for your various subscriptions to roll over into April. For those subscribed to the various game services out there, that usually means another new batch of titles to redeem for no extra charge. The longest one going at this point is Xbox Games with Gold, and now we know the slate for April.

For the entire month, you’ll be able to redeem Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, a top down action RPG set against the backdrop of Norse mythology. From the 1st of April to the 15th, you’ll be able to get Capcom’s Dark Void, a high flying adventure game, and from the 16th to the 30th, you can get Hard Corps: Uprising, an entry in the brutally hard Contra series. Finally, from April 16th to May 15th, you can get behind a big rig with Truck Racing Championship.

The games will be redeemable to all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users starting April 1st, and will be able to added on all Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, as well as 360 for the two compatible games.

Hard Corps: Uprising is schedule to launch on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party program this winter. The first title out of five from the XBLA House Party program. The game, a blistering scrolling shoot ‘em up, will be available for consumers to download on Wednesday, February 16th.

The game stays with the original concept of Contra, you run from side to side and  pretty much destroy every single thing that walks.  There will also be 2 characters that you can choose from, along with 2 game modes which includes the normals mode which is basically one hit and your dead, and the second mode is called Rising  which allows you to get hit 3 times.

You may ask yourself who is the company behind this title, well its the same company that made BlazBlue and Guilty Gear – Arc System Works (you can now see why its anime like).

The game is set to be released this winter on PSN and XBL.
