Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs Halloween Teaser – Here Piggy Pig Pig

Less is more in the latest teaser for Frictional Games’ upcoming Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, which will release on PC in January 2013. The mythos are there, the chilling narrative set in olden times remains but the air of sinister dealings never seems to fade. In this new teaser, the implications of horrors to come are just enough to set us on edge, never mind the presence of a being like the original game’ Shadow, lurking in every dark corner.

And kudos to developer thechineseroom (who worked on the enigmatic Dear Esther) for not revealing it’s exact nature. After all, why spoil the surprise? You’ll be carrying a lamp and navigating the darkness as usual, solving puzzles, cranking machines and exploring the overall mystery of this “machine for pigs”. But honestly, if the first game is any indication, it could be a mystery better left unsolved. Check out the newest teaser and remember, don’t look in the mirror and say, “Here piggy pig pig”. Just don’t.

Here is the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows game that seems to be only part one as the game is oddly enough being released in two parts.. strange. Retail price is $49.95 for consoles so at least it’s not set at the usual $60 for a new game. The graphics look much better that any previous Harry Potter game in my opinion and EA definitely makes the game look very epic from the trailer. As someone who enjoys the films, but doesn’t play the games, this trailer actually makes me want to check out the game when it’s released this November 18 for the PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, and DS.

EA Play and Warner Bros announced today that two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are in development.

EA has announced that the game will be released in two parts just like the movies.

The first part takes place outside Hogwarts as Harry and the kids will try to stop Voldemort by destroying the Horcruxes. The developers have also threw in some creatures from the previous films to pump up the action and to increase the sense of urgency.
The first part Will be released this fall for the DS, PC, PS3, Wii and the Xbox 360.

EA Play and Warner Bros announced today that two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are in development.

“The final Harry Potter adventure has given us the opportunity to make a darker and more action-oriented game than we have before,” says Jonathan Bunney, VP of production at EA Bright Light.

“We believe we are creating a Harry Potter game that the HD console gaming generation will appreciate and enjoy. We have built new technology specifically to allow us to prove that magic is a truly potent force and, in this game, players will need to use all their skills if they want to survive.”
