Limbo

Set on the precipices of Hell, Limbo sees a lone boy trying to find a missing girl, who’s apparently his his sister. Along the way, he meets either angry folk or dead folk. Oh, and a terrifying giant spider that will quickly murder him. After all the trials, the boy finds himself back in the forest and seemingly finds the girl. Suddenly, the game ends. Yes, just like that. Did they proceed to the afterlife? Are they stuck in limbo? The unknown can be scary in its own right and Limbo masters it quite well.

Five Nights at Freddy’s (Series)

Giving anyone who didn’t quite click with the creepy robot mascots of Chuck E. Cheese in the past more than their fair share of nightmares, the whole 5 Nights at Freddy’s series would dominate this list if we didn’t limit it to one. Call it overplayed but the deft weaving of lore into these simple looking suspense games has made them classics for a reason

Check out the video from PS Home that shows some incredible graphics. Okay, we may be slightly exaggerating, but still, looks great. This shows how much Playstation Home has improved since its inception. Half way through the video you can see a girl with the Gravity Daze costume. How cool is that? In case, you don’t know what that is, it’s a new PS Vita launch title.

Yes, just like E3 2011, you can watch Sony press conference at Gamescom on Playstation Home. Sony has set up a dedicated Gamescom space in Home where you can watch the Sony press conference live.

“On August 16th at 5pm CET the space will be available from the Navigator and the What’s New section of the XMB,” explains Sony. “We will be streaming the Sony press conference live into the space from 7pm CET onwards, but don’t worry if you miss it the first time round; we will be looping the hour long press conference once it’s finished and we will also be putting up video edits in the space later on.”

PlayStation 3 owners can now immerse themselves in a world of Hudson Soft as the company launches “Hudson Gate” for PlayStationHome. The portal lounge area will serve as a home-base for all things Hudson including games, virtual item shopping and product information. Within the lounge, there is also a racing match frequently conducted with “Dolphy” the virtual pet

As a central digital world within PlayStation^®Home, “Hudson Gate” will include the Dolphy racing mini-game, in which eight Dolphies compete. Players can watch, vote and participate in the races to obtain virtual rewards. Players can also purchase a “Dolphy Room” which enables them to breed their own Dolphy pets for them to race.
