The Molasses Flood may not be all that well known but it’s only game thus far, The Flame in the Flood, has its own niche audience that appreciated its survival twists. The Flame in the Flood may be a survival game that involves managing hunger, thirst, temperature and one’s injuries. However, the game itself is very compact, going from small islands with limited resources to abandoned locales to survive.

The extra incentive for downloading the game is a free coupon that offers 10 percent off on the Humble Monthly. Considering the first game for the month is Destiny 2 and Humble Monthly is only $12, that’s a pretty darn good deal. Other games will also be revealed in good time so this is just extra incentive for one to subscribe.

The Humble Store is offering another free game and this time, it’s The Darkness 2. From Warframe developer Digital Extremes, The Darkness 2 continues the story of Jackie and the seething entity within him. The overall carnage and shooting mechanics, along with four player co-op support in the campaign, are pretty compelling reasons to jump in. Jackie still has some pretty awesome powers that tear enemies apart (and devour the remains) so if you want to waste a few hours feeling like an overpowered monster, it’s worth a look.

The Humble Monthly Bundle for April is also looking pretty good with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Mafia 3 with its Sign of the Times DLC unlocked immediately if you subscribe. It’s for $12 and more games will be added later.
