THQ is not in a good position right now, but they have certainly got a minor boost from hosting a recent Humble Bundle where people were really receptive and bought 885,000 bundles. Futhermore, the entire thing brought in $5 million in revenue which is something unprecedented.

The bundle included a lot of good games, however, including the amazing Saints Row 3 if you spent more than $5.76. So in total you could get 10 games for Steam, and people quickly noticed that this was a terrific deal. You could donate to charity, tip Humble Bundle or give it to THQ.

It was all for a good cause after all, and here are the games it included. Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War was added later to the bundle increasing its attractiveness to people. The core bundle included these six games with the president and CEO of THQ, Jason Rubin and Brian Farrell, contributing as well.

Not bad, hopefully other companies do the same too, because it is pro consumer and a good opportunity to give donate to charity.

Farrell spent $1650 on the bundle with his own money and so did Jason Rubin, who later said that he had given everything to charity. Now THQ is in need of donation as well, so I don’t know whether he was talking about the company or not. (joke)

The bundle contains six awesome games, and upon paying $6 you also get access to Saints Row 3, which is an awesome game as well.

“So far, it’s been pretty well received: we’re on record pace both in total sales and number of purchases. It looks like we’ve passed the two million dollar mark in just 16 hours. Now this bundle also caused the stock to rise by 37.96 per cent to over $1.60 a share. It’s not clear if it’s the bundle that has caused the stock rise, but it could also be due to other factors.
