Get ready for QuakeCon’s 2013 online pre-registration starting next week on Monday April 15th 2013.

He has revealed that increase in processing power doesn’t necessarily mean that games will be running at 1080p and 60fps, in fact, he has said that he will see more 30 fps games next gen.

“There will still be lots of 30hz games, which I don’t think it is a good trade,” he tweeted, in response to a question asked by a fan.

“If TVs didn’t add lag, it would be more clear cut,” he added.

Well, it remains to be seen if that is indeed the case, but I personally think we will be seeing a lot of 60 fps games since the current consoles are over 6 years old now. But what do I know? I am just a writer who can only speculate, while Carmack created Rage.

id has responded to the Doom 4 leak by ensuring fans that the full game will be much better and “awesome”.

Earlier we reported that there were a bunch of screenshots leaked from the game, and it looked like the game was in development hell, but Bethesda responded that the game is still being made.

According to design director Matthew Hooper, these leaked images aren’t the final representation and the full game will please fans.

“oh I see,” he said in response to a guy pointing out similarities with Rage.

” Those images have nothing to do with what you’re gonna see in Doom4. When we officially show things you’ll see awesome.

“When we officially show things, fans will be happy,”  he assured.

We have found a pretty cool Easter egg in Rage. At first glance, it might not mean much, but when you look closely it resembles the logo of the Quake games. The previous Quake games had logo’s that looked like this. We reviewed Rage and gave it a splendid 9/10, you can check out the review here.

The sixth and final video dev diary for RAGE is based on the sounds and art.  The game with have 6 player online versus and 2 player co-op (online/local).  With John Goodman bringing his voice talents to the game, it will be out October 4th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, Mac and iPhone.

Please check out this new trailer for Rage, named Uprising. “Uprising” tells the story of your epic journey through RAGE, from bewildered Ark survivor to heroic freedom fighter in the Wasteland’s fight against the oppressive Authority.

Rage is scheduled to be released on October 4 for the PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360.

With it supposedly getting closer and closer to the end of the world, why not get a laugh at this trailer of NBA star Black Griffin doing whatever it takes to get in to RAGE, he just doesn’t realize it’s a shooter.  RAGE is out on September 13th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.  The game will have Online 6 player Versus, 2 player Co-op play and local 2 player co-op as well.

If you pre-order RAGE you will automaticallly get upgraded to get the Anarchy Edition of the game for no extra cost.  The Anarchy Edition comes with the following:

Crimson Elite Armour
This is the most sought-after armour in the wasteland. Constructed of hardened plate armour, this gear was created specifically to withstand the toughest wasteland battles.
