Xbox 360 players will finally get their hands on the three new maps.

After releasing on Xbox One and PC, Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall will be receiving the IMC Rising DLC for Xbox 360 on October 21st. It releases roughly a month after the DLC came out for the other platforms.

The DLC pack includes three new maps with Sand Trap, a single installation in a wide open desert with little cover; Backwater, a moonshine colony with lots of tunnels and killing fields; and Zone 18, a secret IMC research facility with tons of rooftops. It’s the last map pack DLC for the game (for now) and overall, it’s not a bad purchase considering the variety in each of the maps.

The IMC Rising DLC pack retails for $9.99 but can also be obtained as part of the Season Pass for the game. Are you still playing Titanfall? Let us know your thoughts on the game in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the game.

Three new maps available for fans of Respawn's shooter.

Respawn Entertainment’s third DLC for Titanfall, IMC Rising, is now available for the Xbox One and PC. Those who picked up the Season Pass should be able to download it now (or later today as it goes live across different territories). You can pick up the Season Pass for £19.99, which will also net you Expedition and Frontier’s Edge, or purchase IMC Rising separately for £7.99.

IMC Rising includes three new maps: Backwater, a moonshine colony; Zone 18, a hidden robotics laboratory where the IMC is developing a new kind of Spectre unit; and Sand Trap, a wide open desert with a single fuel extraction building in the middle of various dunes.

Spoiler: The Milita and the IMC still don’t like each other. But you probably already knew that.

Titanfall: IMC Rising will be likely to go live for the Xbox 360 next month, due to a one month delay between the previous and current gen versions. Let us know what you think of the new maps in the comments.

Three new DLC maps await players tomorrow.

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall has one last DLC pending for its Season Pass, that being IMC Rising and now it finally has a release date. IMC Rising will be out on September 25th for the Xbox One and PC. Yes, that means it will be going live tomorrow. Check out the newest gameplay trailer above for a quick look at all the new maps.

The three maps for IMC Rising include Zone 18, a secret lab with underground tunnels; Backwater, a moonshine colony; and Sand Trap, a seemingly open desert setting with a single building for infantry to convene. Judging by the quality of previous DLC maps, these three should be just as compelling (if not more).

Titanfall: IMC Rising will be out first on Xbox One and PC, with the DLC set to release on Xbox 360 at a later release date. Thoughts on IMC Rising releasing tomorrow? Let us know in the comments.

Sand dunes a lonely bunker define the final map in this DLC.

Respawn Entertainment has revealed the third map for its final Titanfall DLC, namely IMC Rising. We’ve gotten a look at Zone 18 and Backwater, the former being a secret lab with underground tunnels and the latter taking place in a moonshine colony. Sand Trap, despite it’s name, isn’t just another Boneyard.

The map itself features several different trenches and dunes for Titans to take cover in while there’s a single buried bunker in the middle. It will be interesting to see how this works since this will be the prime location of infantry. On the other hand, how will pilots deal with the wide open terrain where Titans will have the advantage? That remains to be seen but it’s different and interesting.

Titanfall’s IMC Rising DLC is expected some time in the coming months for Xbox One and PC, after which it will release a month later for Xbox 360. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.

Battle underground in a decrepit IMC base.

Respawn Entertainment is closing in on the final DLC for Titanfall as IMC Rising’s “Zone 18” map is revealed. The level is interesting since it takes place in an old IMC base where Hammond Robotics is working on a new Spectre model after the destruction of its key base in the campaign.

The base itself is based on an old map that developer Geoff Smith created for Last Titan Standing. It’s now become a mirrored layout of sorts which is “almost like a paintball field for Titans”. There are three key hardpoints on the map connected by underground tunnels. So while players wage war below the surface, Titans battle above it. There will also be rooftops with roughly the same height so there will be less chances of getting the drop on foes.

Zone 18 is only the second map for the IMC Rising DLC with the third, “Sandtrap”, expected soon. The DLC is expected to release by this month end so stay tuned for more details.

The third and final DLC has been announced but details are still pending.

Respawn Entertainment community manager Abbie Heppe was at EA’s Gamescom press conference to talk about Titanfall and the upcoming third DLC map pack in the series. This will be the final map pack (at present) for the first person shooter and is called “IMC Rising”. Not many details were provided but there was a spiffy, live-action/CG trailer titled “Free the Frontier” that was also showcased. Check it out above.

Currently, Titanfall has two map packs – Expedition and Frontier’s Edge – each delivering three maps each. Respawn has released updates in the meantime to add new game modes like Marked for Death and features like the Black Market which allows you to earn credits during matches and purchase packs of Burn Cards.

We’ll have more information on Titanfall’s IMC Rising DLC as Respawn reveals it but what are your thoughts on the Free the Frontier video above? Let us know in the comments below.
