Play your Steam games across different PCs remotely.

Valve Software now supports In-Home Streaming for Steam. If you connect your Steam account on two different computers while on the same network, you’ll be able to install and launch games remotely to the second system. You can then play these game across both systems.

The main benefit is being able to play your games even on a system with lower specifications. You can also play games on a laptop, home theatre or even on a different operating system with Mac OS X, Linux and SteamOS supported. You’ll receive audio and video from your source PC with any input being sent directly to the remote computer.

You can find more information about In-House Streaming here. Valve’s Steam Machines will be coming later this year and will allow users to play their PC games in a living room set-up. What are your thoughts on the new In-House Streaming feature? Let us know in the comments.
