Players can download iGunCon on their iPhone 4 or iPad 2 for free, then link it with another iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Mac that is running Time Crisis 2nd Strike and they will sync up, allowing them to play the game the way it was meant to be played. The device running iGunCon will display a Trigger, Action and Reload areas, while the device running the game will show crosshairs. Players can line the crosshairs up with enemies and tap the Trigger area to shoot your way through the game as it was originally intended.

In addition to Controller Mode, the app has a standalone feature called Toy Mode that allows gamers to recreate the shooting sounds from the Time Crisis series, including the three classic types of GunCon usable in Controller Mode as well as international models. Players can pick their favorite version, and tap the on-screen buttons to play the sounds of the in-game handgun, machine gun, shotgun and grenade launcher.

A lot of questions have been surrounding Call of Duty Elite, here is a video to clear some things up with a little humor on the side. Activision will also be hosting an event in Los Angeles this Labor Day weekend with the first ever Call of Duty fan experience, Call of Duty XP. Thousands of hardcore and casual fans alike will pack a hangar somewhere in the urban confines of L.A. for two days to play Call of Duty for real, with paintball as well as Modern Warfare 2’s The Pit and Scrapyard maps set up brick for brick. There will be a tournament with $1 Million in prizes so stay tuned for info on the event and possible coverage. The private beta is ongoing and hopefully the above video will explain the system a little more.

So grab a bite at Burger Town, Run the Pit, Battle in Scrapyard, a MW3 Reveal and much more taking place in LA, California on September 1st and 2nd. Check out the details here: http://www.callofduty.com/xp/event

Additionally here is a preview of the actual lay out of Call of Duty Elite who did not get into the beta.

With all the rage going on for 3D with glasses and without glasses, today we present to you a mind blowing video of iPad 2 and iPhone 4 rendering 3D without any glasses. Jeremie Francone and Laurence Nigay are responsible for for this feat, coincidentally they were also behind the Head Tracking Display using the WiiRemote. They are using a technology known as Head-Coupled Perspective (HCP) for achieving this.

HDCP can be explained as follows:

“Head-Coupled Perspective (HCP) on mobile devices allows one to create a glasses-free monocular 3D display. It is based on an efficient head-tracker that uses the front-facing camera of the device. We use an off-axis projection in order to adapt the perspective of the 3D scene according to the head’s position of the user. Such spatially-aware mobile display enables one to improve the possibilities of interaction”.

“We track the head of the user with the front facing camera in order to create a glasses-free monocular 3D display. It does not use the accelerometers and relies only on the front camera”.

Now we wonder if this tech can come to consoles. Stay tuned with us for more news and updates.

Apple has just responded to the many bad feed backs about the iPhone 4 signal problems, saying that its due to the fact that your not holding it correctly.

Just like the older iPhone, there is a a metal band in the back that is both a 3G and wi-fi receiver, and the same goes for the new iPhone, so if you hold it and touch both parts of the antenna, it severely reduces the signal, and maybe even drop your calls.

“Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas,” they said.

“This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”

If you want to avoid this issue, just simply don’t hold your iPhone that way, or you can also buy a case that stops the skin contact with that certain part of the phone.
