Apple has released the newest details on the updates to their iPad and computer lines. Apple fans across the good have been waiting with baited breath to see what the latest tweaks will be to their favorite Apple toys.

Phil Schiller announced the next entry in the world of tablets. Titled iPad Air, this new tablet weighs around one pound with a 9.7 inch retina display. Under the hood it will be running the new Apple 64-bit A7 chip, will have a much improved camera and it also includes extremely popular fingerprint technology that debuted with the iPhone 5s. This latest gizmo will release on November 1st.

Furthermore, Apple also announced iPad Mini with retina display, featuring a resolution of 2048 x 1536. The new version will have a 64-bit A7 processor and will have four times the performance of its predecessor. The pricing and other details have been depicted in the image above.

iPads aside, Apple also announced that OSX Maverick will have better performance, efficiency and integrated graphics. On the other hand, the next-gen Mac Pro will include a Xeon E5 processor and the fastest ECC memory. The new Mac Pro will cost $2,999 and release date is expected to be in December this year.

Apple’s newest addition to its lineup of iOS powered smartphones, iPhone 5S and the lower priced, budget iPhone 5C, launched recently, and predictably enough, they have gone ahead to break all smartphone launch records.

“This is our best iPhone launch yet, a new record for first weekend sales,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

“The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible, and while we’ve sold out of our initial supply of iPhone 5s, stores continue to receive new iPhone shipments regularly. We appreciate everyone’s patience and are working hard to build enough new iPhones for everyone.”

Of course, it is to be remembered that lat year’s disappointing iPhone 5 also enjoyed a stellar launch, before sales began to slow down amidst general consumer disappointment, and fell behind flagship Android phones. iPhone 5S and 5C enjoying a great launch right now does not mean much for their long term prospects- yet.

Perhaps more importantly for Apple, at least in the long run, is the tremendous success that iOS 7, its divisive update to its mobile OS, has enjoyed. 200 million devices are already running iOS 7, making it the fastest OS upgrade in history, and yes, that includes Windows as well.

After nearly a year of missed forecasts and tepid sales, maybe iOS 7 along with the new iPhones will restore some momentum to Apple’s product line.

Earlier today Apple announced the release of their newest addition to the line of iPhones, confirming rumors of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C . The phones will be release in silver, black, and gold to start.

The newest iPhone model will feature a 64-bit A7 processor, which boasts CPU speeds twice as fast as in previous models. According to Apple boss Tim Cook, it will be, “the world’s first smart phone with 64-bit desktop-class architecture”

Additionally, the 5S will include a second chip called the M7, which is a motion co processor that tracks motion data. According to Apple, this chip will pave the way for a new generation in fitness and health apps.

Apple has also confirmed a ‘Touch ID’ element, which allows for fingerprint scanning to increase phone security. This new fingerprint system will replace the current passcode security system.

The 8-megapixel iPhone camera has been updated with new stabilization to better capure images of objects and people mid-motion. Also, a ‘burst mode’ has been added which rapidly photographs action sequences.

The 5S will come in three size/price models: 16GB at $199, 32GB at $299, and 64GB at $399. The iPhone 5C will come in two models: 16GB at $99, and 32 GB at $199. All of these prices come with a two year contract deal.

The iPhone 5C will be released in blue, yellow, red, green, and white models. These new models hit the market on September 20th.

Well, folks. It’s official. Apple has releases an official statement confirming the rumors of a September 10th unveiling of a new product in the iPhone line. The iOS 7 announcement page on Apple’s website reflects the system’s spangled new neon look, sporting the crispest colors and apparent functionality to date.

It is very safe to assume that following the announcement of the new Apple product line, we will start to see pre-order availability open up shortly thereafter. As of now, in addition to iOS 7 for all new (and some old) products, we are expecting to get releases for the iPhone 5s and the budget priced iPhone 5c. The 5c will be manufactured with cheaper, less durable materials, but will still maintain most to all of the iPhone’s functionality.
