PS4 players get Rabbids: Party of Legends and PHOGS, while those on PS5 get exclusive access to Luminous Productions’ Forspoken. Meanwhile, Premium subscribers can look forward to playing Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on PS5 and PS4, while PlayStation VR2 gets Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge.

All Classic titles sport rewind, custom filters, up-rendering and rewind functions, making it the best time to experience them. As for December’s PlayStation Plus Essential titles, head here for more details. They’re available until January 6th, 2025.

“Frontier’s move to diversify its game portfolio during the last five years, including through third-party publishing and new games in ‘adjacent genres’, has not delivered the anticipated success,” said the company in its business update. “As a result, the Company has refocused on CMS games which have delivered stronger and more predictable returns through Frontier’s expertise and leadership in that genre.”

For context, management-styled games like Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution, and Jurassic World Evolution 2 are what Frontier Developments considers falling under the CMS umbrella. According to the company’s development update, all four of these games were able to make a profit within a month of release, and over the next year, were able to make a 100 percent return on investment.

“All four games achieved profitability within one month of release and delivered over 100% return on investment within 12 months of release,” it said. “The three games which have been in the market for four years or longer – Planet Coaster, Jurassic World Evolution, and Planet Zoo – have all achieved a cumulative return on investment of over 250%.”

As part of its new focus on management-styled games, Frontier Developments has revealed that it plans on releasing three more games down the line over the next three financial years—one game for each financial year. Despite the performance of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, the company plans on further support the title, as well as other games like Elite: Dangerous and the F1 Manager franchise.

The low sales of Realms of Ruin have reduced the company’s expected revenue for the current financial year. However, the company has stated that it is looking to the next financial year in order to break even in revenue thanks to continued support of its preexisting games, as well as the release of the planned CMS title.

“The Board expects Frontier to at least break even in FY25 through the ongoing performance of the existing portfolio of games, revenue contributions from future releases including the CMS game scheduled for FY25, and the 20% operating cost reductions from the Organisational Review,” it said about its plans with future management games.

The DLC will also be accompanied by the launch of Update 8, which all players will have access to for free. Update 8’s highlight will be the addition of prebuilt layouts in the Sandbox and Custom Challenge modes, featuring pre-built paths, buildings, and enclosures. With designs inspired by Campaign, Challenge, and Chaos Theory levels, prebuilt layouts will be available across a number of maps from the base game as well as the Dominion Biosyn and Dominion Malta expansions.

Additionally, the update will also add new park decorations and items, the ability to change time of day in Capture Mode, and several new dinosaur variants in the form of Allosaurus 2022, Dimorphodon 2022, Pteranodon 2001, Brachiosaurus 2001, and Stegosaurus 1997.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is Frontier Developments’ follow-up to the park management simulator, with new game modes, dinosaurs and new ways to care for dinosaurs. NBA 2K23 is Visual Concepts’ latest title in the yearly basketball series, with MyCAREER, MyTEAM and MyNBA modes. It’s an improvement over the previous year, even if the monetization still leaves much to be desired. Finally, there’s Trek to Yomi, Flying Wild Hog’s side-scrolling cinematic action title, which pays tribute to Akira Kurosawa films (and is sadly not that good).

Dominion Malta Expansion will add three new islands, four new dinosaur species, new variants and skin for existing species, and several new buildings (which can also be used in Sandbox mode) and skins for vehicles and decorations for your park.

Meanwhile, the expansion will also add a new campaign set just before the events of the film, with Cabot Finch returning, and several characters from the film also being involved, including Kayla Watts (voiced by DeWanda Wise), Soyona Santos (voiced by Dichen Lachman), Barry Sembène (voiced by Omar Sy), and Lewis Dodgson (voiced by Campbell Scott).

“In Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Malta Expansion, you’ll establish key buildings, develop your sites, and trade on the dinosaur exchange to acquire more species, eggs, and even genome data,” developer Frontier Developments writes on the PlayStation Blog. “But be warned: the Authorities and the Underground are both taking a keen interest in your operation. Who you choose to align with unlocks more ways to expand your parks, so build trust with these organisations and you’ll earn anything from hatchery upgrades to accessing new islands. There are three in total, and progress is persistent across these islands. Switch between them on the fly, or even bring over dinosaurs on the cargo ship – it’s entirely up to you.”

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Malta Expansion launches on December 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The Pyroraptor possesses well-developed forelimbs and curved claws, which it uses as weapons. It’s also a social animation like the Velociraptor, its distant cousin, so make sure to surround it with more of its kind. Failure to do so could see it escape and wreak havoc (especially since they’re carnivorous). They also don’t get along with other carnivores so it’s best to ensure no one else disrupts their space. Along with prey to hunt and drinking water, Pyroraptors also need open space to roam.

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion is out June 14th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. Other new dinosaurs include the Therizinosaurus, Dimetrodon and Quetzalcoatlus along with new variants in the Dreadnoughtus and Giganotosaurus. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

The campaign sees players constructing the Biosyn Genetics Research Compound, venturing into amber mines for rare genomes, and incubating new species of dinosaurs. A new “What if” scenario is also being added for Chaos Theory Mode that sees players constructing a facility in the new Sierra Nevada environment. The snow-covered hills, pine forests and plains possess their own challenges but a new dinosaur-wrangling mechanic will make it easier to transport the creatures.

The new dinosaurs being added included feathered types like the Therizinosaurus and Pyroraptor. The Dimetrodon and Quetzalcoatlus are also coming along with two new variants – the Dreadnoughtus and Giganotosaurus. Cosmetic skins are also being added for the Dilophosaurus and Parasaurolophus along with scarred and feathered skins for the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The film Jurassic World Dominion is expected to launch in theaters worldwide in June, and it seems Frontier Developments will be launching an expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 2 to coincide with that. A listing for Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion recently emerged on SteamDB, with a release date of June 14 mentioned on the page.

Biosyn is a name that those who’ve read the original Jurassic Park novel will be very familiar with, though of course, the shady corporation hasn’t had much of a presence in the movies. Jurassic World Dominion is set to change that, so it would make sense for an upcoming Evolution 2 expansion to tie into that.

Until now, Jurassic World Evolution 2 has seen two DLC releases where post-launch content is concerned, with Early Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack in December and Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack in March. In all likeliness, however, this leaked expansion is likely to be a much larger addition, in line with the original Jurassic World Evolution’s three expansions, Secrets of Dr. Wu, Claire’s Sanctuary, and Return to Jurassic Park. With the PC Gaming Show set for mid-June, it’s likely it’ll be announced soon.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and was recently also added to Xbox Game Pass. In our review of the game, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the perfect sequel- it’s bigger, better, and toothier than its predecessor in almost every way that matters.” You can read our full review through here.

Games that are yet to be added include Farming Simulator 22 (May 19 – cloud, console, and PC), Vampire Survivors (May 19 – PC), Floppy Knights (May 24- cloud, console, and PC), Hardspace: Shipbreaker (May 24 – PC), Sniper Elite 5 (May 26 – PC, console), Cricket 22 (May 27 – PC), and Pacman: Museum+ (May 24- cloud, console, and PC).

Available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC since November 2021, Jurassic World Evolution 2 once again sees players building up a park of dinosaurs. This involves building enclosures based on the species of dinosaur and their needs, managing different climate and environment types, and much more. There are 75 species of dinosaurs with Campaign, Sandbox and Chaos Theory modes to play through.
