Kingdom Hearts 3D “Features” Trailer Gets it’s Sparkles Out

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] is coming soon to the 3DS and features the return of Sora and Riku. But that’s not all, as the new features trailer highlights some of the new trippy things you can do.

In between “Dive Mode”, which appears to be a free-fall action stage, “Reality Shifts” which employ the touch-screen for attacking enemies and “Flicker Rush” for leveling up characters (somehow – we still think it was magic), there’s a ton to see. Honestly, it’s amazing they’ve managed to cram this much in along with the trademark Kingdom Hearts tone.

Kingdom Hearts 3D and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Demos Now Available For The 3DS

Square Enix today announced that brand new demos for Kingdom Hearts 3D and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy are now available to download in the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS.

These demos bring two of the biggest franchises in gaming, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy to the Nintendo eShop for the first time in Europe.

In the demo for Kingdom Hearts 3D, players will take control of Sora, harnessing the power of the all-new Flowmotion action system to swing, slide and smash through the world of Traverse Town. The Theatrhythm Final Fantasy demo will guide players as they tap, swipe and slide along to the rhythm of a classic Final Fantasy soundtrack across a variety of different music stages.

Kingdom Hearts 3D releases in Europe and PAL territories on 20th July 2012.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy releases in Europe and PAL territories on 6th July 2012.

Kingdom Hearts 3D getting a demo in Japan next week

It’s been confirmed that a demo for Square Enix’s upcoming 3DS RPG, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, will be dropping in next week, but only in Japan. A release date for the US and UK has been mentioned.

The demo will weigh 90 MBs, which is a considerably amount, and will allow users to play it up to 15 times before expiring.

The full game releases in the UK and the US on July 20 and July 31 respectively.

Media Create charts: Kingdom Hearts 3D and 3DS impress

The Media Create sales charts for this week are out, and the 3DS and the recently released Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, have topped the hardware and software charts (respectively) and show some very impressive sales.

Kingdom Hearts 3D topped the software charts with 213,579 sold in its debut week, and the 3DS sold an impressive 121,921 units.
