It’s been confirmed that a demo for Square Enix’s upcoming 3DS RPG, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, will be dropping in next week, but only in Japan. A release date for the US and UK has been mentioned.

The demo will weigh 90 MBs, which is a considerably amount, and will allow users to play it up to 15 times before expiring.

The full game releases in the UK and the US on July 20 and July 31 respectively.

The Media Create sales charts for this week are out, and the 3DS and the recently released Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, have topped the hardware and software charts (respectively) and show some very impressive sales.

Kingdom Hearts 3D topped the software charts with 213,579 sold in its debut week, and the 3DS sold an impressive 121,921 units.

Square Enix has announced, via this week’s Dengeki magazine that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Theatrhtrhm: Final Fantasy for the 3DS, Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSP and Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be there at their Tokyo Game Show booth.

All the games will be playable too.

Square also announced a little while ago that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not be there at TGS this year.
