Square Enix today announced that KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep will be released across PAL territories today on 10th September exclusively for the PSP.

With more than 14 million copies shipped worldwide, the KINGDOM HEARTS series is one of the most beloved RPGs in video game history. With KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep, Disney and original characters for KINGDOM HEARTS characters unite once more in a brand new magical game world, set to engage players with its gripping storyline and action-packed gameplay.

Turn back the pages of time in this earliest chapter of the KINGDOM HEARTS saga that explores the origins of the series. Showcasing all-new characters and brand new but instantly recognisable Disney environments from the worlds of Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, the game boasts exceptional graphics making it one of the most beautiful titles ever to be released for the PSP.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep will be getting released in Europe on September 10 and players can have the option of either selecting the normal version or the really cool looking special edition. The special edition will come along with a lengthy 48 page art book and a set of art prints. Amazon Germany has listed the special edition and has priced it at 44.99 Euros. The new Kingdom Hearts BBS is almost here. I know its not Kingdom Hearts 3 but its still going to be awesome. The game comes out 9/7/10 for $39.99 and the PSP bundle pack is going to run for $199.99, includes the game and the new PSP 3000. The story takes place 10 years before the events of the first Kingdom Hearts. This time around there are three new protagonists Terra, Aqua, and Ventus each with their own story mode and unique abilities. The game will feature a 16:9 wide-screen presentation, four multiplayer modes, and the American version will include extra boss battles and harder game difficulty options.
