Originally set to launch this month, in August the game’s release was pushed back into November, and now, Kumi Souls Games and publisher Playstack have revealed a specific release date for the game.

The Last Faith will launch for PC and consoles on November 15, it has been confirmed. A new trailer has also been released for the game, showcasing its gothic world – which has strong shades of Bloodborne and Castlevania – along with its gorgeous pixel art style. Plenty of its crunching combat is also showcased, with various weapons being shown in action, including whips, swords, guns, and elemental abilities. It’s looking quite promising, to say the least. Upon its release next month, The Last Faith will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Recently, at Future Games Show, another new trailer of the game was showcased, offering another glimpse of the 2D action-platformer’s grimdark fantasy world and its gorgeous pixel art style. Kumi Souls Games has also announced that a beta of The Last Faith is now available on Steam. The beta will take players to the towering city of Mythringal, where you’ll be contending with cursed souls, haunting memories, secrets, and more. Players will be able to use a sword and a firearm, while according to the developer, the completion time for the beta should range between 20 to 90 minutes.

That said, The Last Faith’s final release has been delayed by a bit. Previously due out in October, the game is now set to launch sometime in November for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Last Faith’s gorgeous pixelated art style and the strong Bloodborne vibes it’s clearly giving off are continuing to look as impressive as they did when it was unveiled last year, while its combination of Soulslike and Metroidvania gameplay is also looking solid. The trailer showcases plenty of enemies, glimpses of crunching combat, and of course, quite a few gothic environments. Check it out below.

Kumi Souls Games and publisher Playstack have also confirmed that The Last Faith will be launching for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this October. A beta has also been announced, and though a date for it hasn’t yet been confirmed, signups have been opened up.

The story centers on Eric who has no memories of recent events and must struggle against the deterioration of his mind. To survive, he must embark on a mission that involves nightmarish creatures and other ordeals. There are four different classes to choose from along with different melee weapons, firearms and spells.

Additional abilities unlock over time but you’ll also use brutal executions to take down monsters. Environments are pretty varied, ranging from graveyards and crypts to forests and mountains, further highlighting the game’s aesthetic.
