Developer Fireaxis Games has stated that the game will feature “nine new civilizations, eight new wonders, two new scenarios, four new gameplay systems and dozens of new units, buildings and improvements offering an expanded variety of ways to build the most powerful empire in the world.”

The civilization franchise was always successful due to its strategic war/economic elements that fans fell in love with ever since the release of the first game in the series. Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Brand New World plans to continue to do just that and hopefully it will be successful.

Sony Online Entertainment has released Origin Crisis the new downloadlable content pack for DC Universe Online.

The Origin Crisis content pack  will include “new high-level multiplayer and solo adventures [that] send players through alternate realities as they amend or alter the origins of their favorite”.

Origin Crisis will also feature something called – Quantum – which will allow the player to alter time and space during combat with the enemies.

Here is a bulletin version of the Origin Crisis DLC features:

• New Quantum Controller Power Set – Manipulate time, control gravity and twist the very fabric of space itself.

• Two new Raids

• Two new Hero Origin Operations

• Two new Villain Origin Operations

• Iconic Anomalies – Two new Solo Simulation Challenges

Mars War Logs – Launch Trailer is here ladies and gentlemen. And for some reason this another version of the original launch trailer we had reported a couple of days back.

Mars War Logs is a third-person action RPG. In the game, the player plays a role of Roy Temperance who is a man seeking to save the planet from the mass catastrophe that devastated the planet almost a century ago. You will be taking on quests, participating in dialogue choices and decisions, crafting and modyifing your weapons and of course slaying the terrifying monsters that roam planet Mars.

Mars War Logs is developed by Spiders studios for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and PC. The game will feature a big variety of dynamic quests, high-quality character specializations and multiple skill trees and a full fledged crafting system.

Deep Silver has released a launch trailer for their upcoming Dead Island. The trailer is a mixture of in-game footage and cutscenes. It’s really good, you should have a look at it.

The game releases for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 6 in US and September 9 in UK.

EA’s released the launch trailer for Shift 2 and it’s all about speed.

As you can see, there’s plenty of good looking cars and tracks in the trailer and things are looking for good fans of simulation racers.

BioWare’s confirmed it’ll release Mass Effect 2 on PS3 on PSN along with a retail release.

This appears to be the first time such a major PS3 release will get a simultaneous PSN release day and date along with its retail one.

Ubisoft’s released the multiplayer launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on the eve of its US release.

The video gives you a preview of the game’s MP modes and playable classes and maps.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood launches today in US and later this week (Friday) in UK.

This is the first Assassin’s Creed game to feature a multiplayer component.
