Half-Life 2 Zombie, Left4Dead Witch and Hunter – Hyperrealistic Cosplay

Cosplays are amazing, aren’t they? Especially when people put their hearts and souls behind them. It’s always a pleasure to highlight such cosplays, where it’s so realistic or hyper realistic that you almost can’t imagine they’re fake at all.

When cosplays are about characters we care about, like the Witch from Left4Dead, or headcrab zombie from Half-Life 2, it gives an incredible feeling to see them portrayed in such a way. We have three such cosplays where the depiction could seriously take you back–it’s that realistic.

One is a zombie from Half-Life 2, and the other two are a Witch and Hunter from the popular Left 4 Dead series. Check them out below, it’s not for the faint of heart. The Witch’s eyes will come to haunt you, so don’t stare at it. Or shoot. But hey, you obviously won’t do that, right? Or can’t.

Left4Dead 3 Happening “Some Time Down the Road”

Valve writer Chet Faliszek is a busy man. In between Steam Greenlight and Big Picture, development on upcoming Valve titles, and just overall being a boss, he found time to talk to about the Left4Dead series hitting 12 million copies sold since it’s release.

In the wake of this success, Faliszek spoke to Eurogamer and was asked about the possibility of another sequel. Faliszek responsed, “You know, some time down the road. Like anything, I would say that to all of our games. So that’s not a promise of when or where. I really love working on that series. It’s one of my favourite series. It’s just so much fun with the characters and the world. I love zombies and I love horror. So, yeah.”

There’s definitely no discounting that a Left4Dead 3 could happen. Valve faced quite a lot of flak for releasing the second game only a year after the first, but still delivering all the same. What could they have planned this time we wonder?

Left4Dead Series Sales Hits 12 Million Copies

Valve writer Chet Faliszek recently spoke to VG247 about the Left4Dead series, among other things, and an interesting point that came up was the overall sales figures for the games.

That is to say, they’ve been fantastic. Selling 12 million units thus far, Faliszek speaks about how” “letting people play the game – Left 4 Dead is a good example – is much better. All of our pre-release stuff is designed to just let people play it.

“We just let the game speak for itself because the internet has made this thing where, you can’t pull the wool over people’s eyes any more. They’re going to know you’re hyping. But when a game does really well at pre-release, they’re going to know that you’re not just talking a bunch of PR crap. I mean, the Left 4 Dead series has now sold over 12 million copies.”

“That’s amazingly cool, and that wasn’t because I was out there like, ‘This game is amazing! Buy it!’ Seeing Counter-Strike be the number one PSN title was awesome, and you know it’s just because of people reacting to the game.”

Spike’s VGA 2010 to see Left4Dead 3 reveal?

Spike Tv’s posted a new trailer promoting their upcoming VGA 2010 event and it has dropped another cryptic clue which might lead you to Left 4 Dead 3!

The trailer asks you to look closer and if you look close enough the above posted image can be seen. Although, it might not be Left4Dead 3 but it’s definitely something related to the series. Maybe a PS3 port or something.

However, the video says world premiere before the image is shown and it might very well prove to be a new Left4Dead game.

We will find out on Dec 11 when VGA takes place.
