Sony has announced the next range of titles coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium starting on February 20th. Subscribers in both tiers get access to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Roguebook, and Tales of Arise on PS4 and PS5. It’s worth noting that Tales of Arise will also be coming to Game Pass on the same day.

PS4-exclusive titles include LEGO Jurassic World, LEGO Worlds, Rogue Lords and Tales of Zestiria. Need for Speed Unbound and The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition round out the PS5-exclusive titles.

As for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, they gain access to two PS4/PS5 titles – Jet Moto 2 for the PS One and Resistance: Retribution from the PSP era – and two PS4 titles – Tales of Symphonia Remastered and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.

There’s no shortage of great games in the Xbox Game Pass library, and soon, even more of these will be coming. Microsoft has announced the next wave of games that are being added to Xbox Game Pass on console, and there’s some really good stuff in there.

To start off, on September 19 – which is tomorrow – will see the addition of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – an accomplished metroidvania title and an excellent spiritual successor to some of the best Castlevania games ever made – and Jump Force – an ambitious anime/manga crossover that is sadly, somewhat disappointing.

Following that, September 26 will see the arrival of Codemasters’ excellent rally racing simulator DiRT Rally 2.0 on Game Pass. On the same day, open world title LEGO Worlds and real-time tactics roguelite Bad North will also be added to the service’s library.

The value of Game Pass continues to expand. If none of those games seem interesting to you, there’s plenty of other stuff already in the catalog to grab your attention, including – but not limited to – recent heavyweight additions like Devil May Cry 5 and Gears 5.

LEGO Worlds is a free form game- so of course, some of its Trophies/Achievements will be obscure and hard to unlock.

So many high quality games saw a release in March- but the frontrunners in terms of commercial performance were expected to be Horizon: Zero Dawn, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. they both got showed up by Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the new open world entry in Ubisoft’s long running franchise, which, in the UK, was the highest selling game for the month of March.

This should not be too surprising- after all, we’ve been seeing Wildlands top charts (or be very near the top) consistently since its release. Wildlands came in ahead of PS4 exclusive Horizon, which came in at second place. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild followed in third place- which, seeing how limited Switch stock was, and how few Wii U consoles have sold, is truly impressive. Mass Effect Andromeda was in fourth place- but again, it needs to be remembered that it only launched on March 23 (in the UK), so it was selling at a disadvantage from the get go. LEGO Worlds rounds out the top five.

I suppose the good news here is that this top five is all mostly quality, and all good games- plus obviously, all of these games sold reasonably well, so I suppose there isn’t much to complain about (though I naturally disagree with the order). Good going, UK.

Some tips to get you started on LEGO Worlds.

LEGO Worlds is Warner Bros.’ LEGO themed take on the Minecraft concept- and much like Minecraft, there is a lot here to uncover, a lot to unravel, layers upon layers of unexpected depth and content. LEGO Worlds can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t go in prepared for it- which is where this guide comes in.

The game does have a tutorial area that can help you learn the ropes- but some help has never been amiss. In this video, courtesy of Kotaku and which you can see below, you can learn a whole lot about the newest LEGO game. The video will walk you through all the various mechanics in the game, the basics and essentials that you need to know as you make your way through the game.

This guide will cover Character Creation, Discovery Tool, Ranking Up, Landscape Tool, Copy Tool, Paint Tool, Build Tool, and, of course, Free Build. Are you ready? Then let’s get started!

Character Creation: This is you! You get to decide what you look like in the game! Options will actually be a bit limited at first, but you’ll unlock more as you go. For now, just pick a basic look.

Discovery Tool: The Discovery Tool is used to scan anything interesting that you see in the world- and once scanned, you can spend bricks to unlock that stuff, and place it anywhere in the world.

Rank Up: Collecting Gold Bricks makes your rank go, well, up. You get Gold Bricks by completing quests or finding them in the world. You need a certain number of them before you will be allowed to craft your own worlds, so finding these should be your number one priority at first.

Landscape Tool: Used to make holes or bridges of any size.

Copy Tool: Does exactly what its name suggests- you scan massive structures to be able to replicate them with ease later.

Paint Tool: Offering a ridiculous amount of granular control (you can paint one brick at a time, or go for larger, landscape sweeping strokes), the paint tool lets you paint stuff you see.

Build Tool: The in game equivalent of playing with LEGOs in real life, and probably the one tool you will be using the most.

Free Build: Lets you create your own worlds, filled with all sorts of neat things. Free Build is going to be where you’ll be spending most of your time in the game- you unlock it for completing the game’s tutorial.

Life is plastic, it’s a bit spastic.

The ongoing pursuit to cram as many intellectual properties and/or ideas into the LEGO universe continues with Traveller’s Tales’ LEGO Worlds. But rather than piggy back and make full use of an already well-established and familiar universe as its backbone, LEGO Worlds does something that you would think would have already happened with the flagship games by now: it lets you build stuff in an open sandbox-y world with actual LEGOs.

It was something of a shock to see LEGO Worlds initially start off as a Steam Early Access title all the way back in June 2015, with the premise drawing immediate comparisons to another certain and highly successful sandbox crafting video game of the “Mine-ing” variety. Yes, LEGO Worlds essentially takes it own whack at the Minecraft formula, and it’s a fit that makes all too much sense to NOT happen.

"Much like a lot of the LEGO Games from Traveller’s Tales, there’s some humor to be had when you’re trying your best to learn the controls."

And fit, it does. Right from the get-go, you’re thrust onto your first preset world, dubbed biomes, via your spaceship (“SPACESHIP!”). A rather charismatic narration voiced by Peter Serafinowicz takes you through the many creation tools you will have at your disposal. This sort of story-telling doesn’t stray too far from the LittleBigPlanet tree, and it’s especially nudge worthy when you consider Mr. Serafinowicz also voiced several characters in LittleBigPlanet 3. That said, the narration works well here and does warrant a chuckle every now and then.

Once you’ve visited several of the first few biomes, you’ll be acquainted with all the tools necessary to create, build, copy and explore the terrain as you see. Therein lies the charm of LEGO Worlds. Each world you visit is not only procedurally generated but is also accompanied by a theme that determines the sort of characters, creatures, vehicles and items that will spawn within. From lush forests to a junkyard, candy lands to volcanic regions; it’s all fantastic to look at, not only thanks to the visual style, but with how everything animates together. Much like a lot of the LEGO Games from Traveller’s Tales, there’s some humor to be had when you’re trying your best to learn the controls.

Not to say the controls are difficult per se but it took a bit of time to know when to optimally switch between your various tools, all the while managing your inventory items. From here, things actually differ quite a bit from Minecraft. Each of your tools performs a multitude of functions, such as terrain deformation, copy and pasting buildings and environments (which the narrator assures isn’t cheating at all) and of course, building with individual blocks of assorted LEGO shapes and sizes.

"Truth be told, there isn’t a lot of crafting of items involved."

Using your tools, you’re tasked to explore each biome and acquire as many Gold Bricks as you can. These bricks can be earned by completing side quests as simple as talking to an NPC and handing them an item, building something for them, painting objects, taking photos of them with some object, protecting them from enemies etc. Gold Bricks can also be earned by digging for random chests beneath the surface, wherever a pillar of gold light shines above it or on your world map. While solutions to helping NPCs are practically laid out for you, the freedom to find items, weapons and vehicles at your own pace lends well to the exploration aspect.

Truth be told, there isn’t a lot of crafting of items involved. As mentioned earlier, each biome already comes predefined with its own set items. By using the Discovery Tool, you can scan objects from previously visited worlds, then spawn and use them whenever you choose to with minimum cost. Therefore, there’s no need to craft for individual weapons or vehicles. Ditto goes to the survival aspect commonly seen in crafting games. Because your character will immediately spawn back upon death, things are far less punishing here.

Because of the lack of urgency, it’s easy to just lose yourself to a world you’ve visited and then blast off once you’ve exhausted its offerings. In some ways, it’s not too different to the gameplay loop in No Man’s Sky which kept players moving from planet to planet for resources. But the struggle of earning resources is nearly non-existent as you’re mostly left to your own free will. It’s actually not so bad in that respect but may put off those who expect far more of a challenge compared to survival-oriented contemporaries. Which, to be fair, you’re playing a LEGO game. Challenges aren’t exactly the focus.

"For fans of LEGO games, it comes highly recommended."

On that note, if there’s one feature you could always expect in a LEGO game, it drop-in/drop-out local and online co-op. Yes, it works very much like previous LEGO Games. Sadly, due to performance issues, local co-op is just unplayable. This could be due to the number of on-screen static and animating objects that can be displayed at any given time, but that is not always the case. Even when playing solo, it’s easy to run into frame stutters and environmental pop-in, even for some of the medium-sized biomes. There is also the usual jankiness that comes with any sandbox crafting game, such as falling from the world or having your character’s position reset based on where you place large building structures, but nothing too game breaking.

No doubt the true icing on LEGO Worlds’ blocky cake is its asking price. It’s smartly positioned for those seeking a nice deviation from the standard Minecraft fare with the added bonus of being LEGO flavored. There’s enough to sink your teeth into with the amount of worlds to visit, the number of items and characters to be collected, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with finding a Gold Brick tucked in some chest. For fans of LEGO games, it comes highly recommended.

This game was reviewed on the PlayStation 4.

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands continues its reign at the top of the UK game charts according to Gfk Chart-Track. This is the open world shooter’s second week in the top spot having been the biggest launch of 2017 in the UK when it first released.

Lego Worlds managed to rise up one place to second while Horizon: Zero Dawn fell to third place. Grand Theft Auto 5 shows no signs of ever leaving the charts and stays at fourth place followed by FIFA 17 in fifth. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild meanwhile dropped from fourth to sixth place in the past week.

The rest of the charts feature the usual suspects with Rocket League, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Minecraft: Xbox Edition and Forza Horizon 3 rounding out the top ten. It should be interesting to see what the next week holds with Mass Effect: Andromeda releasing on March 23rd in Europe. Can it topple Wildlands despite above average critical reception? We’ll find out next week.

Through LEGO Worlds, you have probably noticed that sometimes, you find “Legendary Coordinate Piece” from chests and other treasure troves.. These Legendary Coordinate Pieces are one of four- and in this guide, we tell you what to do with them.

Coordinates pieces that are the same are all the same color- once you have four of the same coordinate, you need to put them on to the ground perfectly lined up to become a square- doing so will resolve them into a QR Code. You may need to color in some sections- when the QR code is ready, pull out your phone and scan it- you now get a coordinate to put into your Galaxy Map. Once you use the coordinate to locate where you’re supposed to be, you’ll find a huge gold brick, and a Legendary Brick.

We’re going to make your life easy- here are all the Legendary Brick coordinates. There is also a video tutorial below:

1×2 Slope Brick: x-15y16z17

1×3 Slope Brick: x191y30z-99

1×4 Slope Brick: x77y27z-77

3×3 Corner Brick: x182y13z0

1x2x3 Slope Brick: x12y34z56

2x2x3 Slope Brick: x-201y36z-21

2×2 Corner Brick: x0y13z123

2×3 Brick: x13y33z31

2×4 Brick: x100y75z225

1×1 Brick:x42y42z42

1×2 Brick: x-155y26z-235

2×2 Brick: x-244y30z-244

2×2 Slope Brick:x127y12z-69

2×3 Slope Brick: x79y74z89

2×4 Slope Brick: x105y65z-105

MINOTAUR

One of the best and hardest quests in the game involves tracking down the Minotaur- the video below highlights exactly how to do so.
