Ubisoft continues to provide the DLC campaigns to expand on the base Far Cry 5 experience that were promised in the season pass, with the next one up being “Lost on Mars”. Players will be able to access the new episode as of July 17, either through having the Season Pass, Gold Edition or dropping a cool $10.

Trading in Hope County for the far reaches of space, Nick Rye is helping to thwart an alien invasion of Earth with some brand new space-age weaponry, including “The Blaster of Disaster”, “Morphinator” and “Hellfire”. Assets from the expansion will drop for use in Far Cry Arcade at the same time.

The second episode of 3 from the season pass, players can currently experience the Vietnam based “Hours of Darkness” episode, and can look forward to the final campaign known as “Living Dead Zombies” which is planned to launch in August. Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 is getting a Season Pass and it may contain some of the most outlandish DLC produced yet. It contains three DLC packs – Hours of Darkness, Dead Living Zombies and Lost on Mars – with the goal to “take players on three uncanny adventures with a unique Far Cry twist.”

Hours of Darkness sees players battling Viet Cong soldiers after going back in time while Dead Living Zombies presents several shlocky movie scenarios against zombies. Then there’s Lost on Mars where players will fight against Martian spider creatures. Furthermore, Season Pass owners will receive Far Cry 3: Classic Edition.

This version of the game only contains the single-player component and will come to PS4 and Xbox One owners. Though available as a standalone game in Summer 2018, it will be out four weeks early for Season Pass holders.

Far Cry 5 and its Season Pass will be packaged together in the Gold Edition if that’s more your liking. The game itself is out on March 27th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We’ll learn more about the release dates for DLC shortly afterwards so stay tuned.
