Further details will be revealed later, but fingers crossed that this new mode is a roguelite twist of sorts, perhaps battling through the various sections of the castle before a boss fight against Doom. As for which two characters could be added, there are a wide number of options, including Mister Fantastic and Namor. Tribute Games could throw in a curveball, though, so stay tuned for updates.

Tribute Games’ first DLC arrived last May and added two new characters, Cyclops and The Thing, bringing the total roster to 17. It’s unknown whether Dotemu has more content planned after The Siege of Castle Doom, but it could very well cross over with Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, if ArcSys has its way.
