Marvel is teasing a new game announcement for mobiles and they’ve released a new briefing video to get things going.

They showed these videos in Marvel XP, and on the Marvel XP Facebook page.

Marvel XP is a free, live service that connects Marvel players to their games in a whole new way.  The service – which was first activated with the launch of Marvel: Avengers Alliance in March – tracks play in multiple games across a number of different platforms.  This includes tracking player progress in each XP-powered game, as well as in-game achievements.

A mysterious energy pulse has hit Earth and knocked out communications around the globe. Prominent villainous organizations, such as HYDRA and A.I.M., have taken the opportunity to attack. S.H.I.E.L.D is calling all S.H.I.E.L.D agents and superhumans to report for active duty.
