A year ago, EA and Legendary Pictures (the people behind megatons like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and a truckload of other movies), announced a deal that they would together be releasing a Mass Effect movie, but we haven’t heard much about it since then.

Legendary Pictures has announced, though, that there will be a Mass Effect: The Movie panel at ComicCon this year on the 22nd of July, featuring scriptwriter Mark Protosevich and BioWare’s Casey Hudson. Casey Hudson along with BioWare founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk will serve as executive producers on the project.

It’ll be nice to see how the film is turning out till now.
