Over at SDCC 2010, Frank O’Connor who is the man behind everything Halo at 343 industries has revealed that Master Chei’s story has not finished yet. He said, “Wake me when you need me” and went into cryosleep (Zzzz…). In Halo 3’s Legendary ending, we saw Master Chief’s ship reach a mysterious planet (and O’Connor calls it a “planet” and not a ship). So what comes next?”

“We’d have to be the world’s biggest a**holes not to follow through. We certainly haven’t seen the last of Master Chief, ” says O’Connor. Now we start thinking and make our brains work…Will the Cheif return in Reach this September or will he be a part of the bigger plan for Halo 4? I guess we have to just wait and watch.
