Mass Effect 2 gets PS3 launch trailer, PSN release confirmed

BioWare’s confirmed it’ll release Mass Effect 2 on PS3 on PSN along with a retail release.

This appears to be the first time such a major PS3 release will get a simultaneous PSN release day and date along with its retail one.

Bioware’s also released the launch trailer for the game. Enjoy.

The game releases next week.

EA and Bioware has announced the release date for Mass Effect 2 for PS3.

The game will be releasing on Jan 18 in the US and Jan 21 in Europe.

As we know, the original ME remains exclusive to Xbox 360 and hence the PS3 version of ME 2 will contain an interactive comic which will give newcomers an idea about the ME universe and also enable them to make choices which will effect your ME 2 playthrough.

Mass Effect 2 PS3 will come with all previously released DLCs for the game and seems like a great package.

Mass Effect 2, best-selling, highly acclaimed Role Playing title, developed by BioWare, which was originally exclusive to the Xbox 360 and the PC, has now been confirmed to be soon released on the PS3. In their conference at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, EA announced that one of the best games to have been released this year, Mass Effect 2, will be releasing on the PS3 in January 2011.

BioWare Announced New DLC For Mass Effect 2

BioWare has announced a new downloadable expansion back for their highly acclaimed Mass Effect 2. The new expansion pack is titles ‘Lord of the Shadow Broker.’

This is one of the many expansion packs that Mass Effect 2 has recieved and will be recieving. Mass Effect 2 has had two DLC packs before this- Overload and Aegis Pack. You can download these to enjoy more Achievements, arenas, weapons and armours.

“Two years ago, Commander Shepard died and Liara T’Soni fought in a desperate struggle against the Shadow Broker to recover her former Commander.
