The new portal, which can be found here http://www.konami-europe.net/MG25th, will be regularly updated with events and news of everything surrounding this momentous occasion, which were kicked off by Hideo Kojima’s announcement and subsequent release of the Metal Gear Solid 4 patch which introduced trophy support to the franchise for the first time.

Kojima is also mid-way through a global tour of the franchise amidst a busy year, with many rumours swirling about what will be announced.

Later this month on 30th August, the ‘Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Party’ promises to an announcement or two, held at Tokyo Midtown and is invitation-only.
