It’s clear that Milestone wants to craft the full experience on the Vita, rather than just toning down the console version for handheld play. Game Director Michele Caletti states that, “The PlayStation Vita version of MotoGP 13 has exactly the same contents of the home console. We want to put the authentic and real MotoGP atmosphere into it. Our aim was basically to offer an “on the go” experience for playing the game everywhere. I’m sure players will enjoy it.”

MotoGP 13 is currently available for pre-order, and will be coming to a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and PlayStation Vita on June 21st 2013.

PQube Senior Product Manager Martine Saunders stated that, “Using Gavin for the commentary is just another detail which adds to the unrivaled realism of the game and is a nice connection to what’s going on in the real life world of MotoGP.

“It gives the game an added sense of authenticity, with Gavin’s professionalism and in-depth knowledge providing a natural and exciting feel to the in-game audio, drawing you into the action even more.”

Described as a new start with the series, since it marks Milestone’s return to the license since MotoGP 2008. MotoGP 13 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and PS Vita this coming June.

With Career mode, Official mode and online multiplayer, MotoGP 13 features all the official bikers, riders, teams, sponsors and circuits, with a physics engine so realistic, that of the 300 parameters it manages for your vehicles, more than a 100 are for tires alone. Because Newton friggin’ hates tires and you better know it.

You can also upgrade your bike and customise it to your heart’s desire, along with customising and leveling up your rider. In-game commentary by official MotoGP personality Gavin Emmett helps the realism factor, if the photorealistic visuals weren’t doing it for you. There will also be a feed of events on the real world of MotoGP within the game, keeping you up to date on what’s happening.

MotoGP 13 is set to release on June 21st.

The DLC gives access 8 champion racers along with 4 teams/bikes. This includes Valentino Rossi for Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso for Monster Yamaha Tech 3 and more such famous icons. The racers will be available in the Quick Race/Race Weekend, multiplayer, split-screen and Championship modes.

Game director Michele Caletti, “There were a lot of requests to include 2012 content into MotoGP 13. For this reason we’ve decided to satisfy the fans desire by offering some of the historical riders and unique combinations from the past season for a spectacular MotoGP experience.”

“There’s one main concept which we wanted to carry throughout the whole game, a simple concept, but a very important one, “be the rider”. In considering this concept, we created the “helmet view”, this is the most immersive and compelling way to ride, where the visuals, audio and dynamics recreate the actual rider’s point of view.   We have made it realistic, but in a way that is accessible to everyone, you can easily switch to it and feel comfortable using it in no time.”

The game will be released in June for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360 and PC.
