Gotta go fast! And sound sweet when you do.

Milestone have released a trailer that might appeal to you MotoCross fans. In an effort to ensure their next racing title, MXGP sounds as real as possible they’ve just gone right on ahead and straight up strapped microphones (amongst other piece of recording kit) to the riders and let them loose.

There’s some pretty neat first person footage of the riders bombing around the track and those bikes have a much deeper bite than expected. If the game sounds like that when you’re in first person, that’s reason enough to purchase it if you’re an audiophile. Of course MotoCross fans will get a kick out of the enhanced realism, new tracks and riders and much more.

MXGP drops on October 17th for PS4, so if that’s your jam then get on it already. It’s already on PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PC. What are your thoughts on the audio recording process? Let us know below.

Learn the techniques in the newest MXGP videos.

MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame is about to launch, and ahead of the launch, to ease players into what promises to be a highly authentic motocross simulation, publisher Milestone has released a series of videos that should essentially act as tutorials for the game’s mechanics for new players.

The first two video tutorials (see above) teach players scrubbing and jumping techniques.

“On a motocross track, the jump’s phase is highly critical for saving or losing valuable time. Thanks to the feedback given by professional riders while developing the game we’ve been able to add all the settings that control the flight making the riding experience of MXGP as real as possible. Accelerating or using the rear brakes, players can control the bike’s angle while landing. They can also handle the rider’s weight distribution which will change the flight trajectory,”affirms Alessandro Castrucci, Milestone’s Game Director.

“Even the fulfillment of tricks becomes really important during a race. A well done scrub allows the rider to minimize the time spent in the air, making a lower and faster jump allow the rider to land earlier with a speed boost. Video tutorials will guide players to master these techniques, conveying the thrill of Motocross even to casual players without restricting hardcore gamers to play and pursue their own riding style” concludes Castrucci.

MXGP launches on PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, and PC March 28.

Milestone Interactive’s upcoming motocross simulation and racing game, MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame, has just got its newest developer diary, one that discusses the motion capture technology used to authentically recreate real life motorsport.

“MXGP is a symbol of simulation, realism and license’s loyalty. Implementing Motion Capture technology is an additional piece to the puzzle that together with the ones related to game’s physics, graphics and chromatics’ choices, which were unveiled in the Gameplay trailer # 1 and released last week, creates the whole product image”, affirms Alessandro Castrucci, Milestone’s Game Director. “Particularly this year, using a female character , as the Monster Girl, will enhance the game’s realism if compared with the previous one; we are also confident she will be appreciated by all Motocross’ fans”, concludes Castrucci.

MXGP- The Official Motocross Videogame is due out on March 28, 2014 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Windows PCs. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game.

Check out the new track soil deformation and first person view.

Milestone has released a new gameplay trailer for MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame, which is based off the official FIM Motocross World Championship. In this new video, we can Evgeny Bobryshev at Valkenswaard in the Netherlands and get a closer look at both the first person perspective of the game as well the track soil deformation.

The former is especially interesting since it sees the condition of the tracking changing from race to race, leading to a greater level of challenge since you’ll be forced to adapt to changing conditions. The first person perspective lends a new view to the game’s jumps and tracks, ramping up the realism considerably as you struggle to navigate the dirt-clad roads.

This is of course alongside the MXGP 2013 calendar of riders, teams, bikes and rules, along with an all-new Career Mode for players. MXGP will be available on March 28th for PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PC.

Milestone Interactive is hard at work on MXGP- The Official Motocross Videogame, the game that it is developing as a love letter to all fans of the sport, and one of the things that it is paying painstaking attention to is the details- for instance, check out just how lovingly crafted their 3D models are.

So confident are they in just the models that they are willing to showcase them in videos dedicated entirely to them. The newest one that you see above showcases the third 3D model for Belgian racer Ken De Dycker, who races for the Red Bull team, and has five GP wins under his belt.

MXGP- The Official Motocross Videogame is due out later this year. Specifically, it will be releasing in Spring of this year on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita (for some reason), and on PC.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more of the latest coverage.
