Ubisoft have just posted the launch trailer for their upcoming fitness title, My Fitness Coach Club.

The trailer shows extensive use of the PS move and PS eye, and the game looks set to feature custom music tracks, post-release DLC and enough personalised workouts to ensure you get the most out of your exercises. The woman in the trailer certainly seems to be having fun, though it would be a very odd trailer if she came off the game looking morbidly depressed.

Ubisoft announces My Fitness Coach: Club, a new fitness game for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system, utilizing PlayStation Move functionality, and for the Nintendo Wii. Developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, the game separates overall fitness routines into six core elements — core body, upper body, lower body, cardio, balance and flexibility — that help you focus on getting fit and reaching your goals. The workouts have been developed by experienced fitness professionals to ensure that every move is performed precisely and effectively, and will enable players to maximize their training following their personal coach’s feedback. My Fitness Coach: Club will be available in March 2011.

Both versions of the game include exclusive features tailored to the strengths of each console.

My Fitness Coach: Club for Nintendo Wii uses a USB camera, included with the game, to provide a picture-in-picture view that enables players to compare their own movements to the in-game coach for a more accurate replication of exercises.

The PlayStation 3 game, using PlayStation Move, allows players to upload music to their PS3 and perform workouts to the beat of their favourite songs. The PS3 analyzes your playlist and suggests the music that suits the right rhythm for each workout.
