Unknown Worlds have announced that the much anticipated female marine soldiers will finally be playable sometime in late August or early September according to the developers.

Unknown Worlds also stresses how they’re tired of female characters being hyper-sexualized and viewed as “sexual objects” in video games. Therefore, the developer is trying to create fierce female combatants that show no mercy to the aliens. It’s quite fascinating that the developers are taking such approach and are trying to differentiate themselves from others.

Unknown Worlds also thanks their customers for purchasing the game due to the fact that playable female marine soldiers would not be possible without them in the first place.
