Every day between now and 27th July, a new reveal or free item will be given away to fans of the free-to-play, racing MMO.

All existing players will receive the new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, as well as double XP throughout the week. Not only that, but the all new Free Cam feature has finally arrived, allowing racers to capture in-game screenshots of their cars in action.

Throughout the week players will have a chance to log in and snag themselves more free free items including: customized license plates, neons, vinyls and even Need for Speed World in-game currency, SpeedBoost.

Check out this amazing trailer for Need For Speed World. Since it is interactive, you can choose some options just like that PS3 exclusive game, Heavy Rain.

Beginning with a starting location, viewers can choose between two of the most popular districts, Rockport or Fortuna. From there, viewers have their pick towards which car they prefer to virtually “race” in: Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) or the Toyota Supra. Viewers are in the driving seat as each car showcases a different perspective of the race.

Check out the new trailer from Need to Speed World, the Free-to-play racer from EA.

EA now has over 1 million users in their online free to play PC version of Need for Speed called Need for Speed World.  From now until August 6th, which is tomorrow, you will be granted access to the Porsche 959, but only for day, so get a move on it.  Check out the game and download it here.  The one day Porsche prize may only be available to new registries of the game.

The July release, Need for Speed World, EA’s MMO iteration of the hugely successful racing series, has has ALREADY reached 1 million users, EA has announced. They also announed they will be launching “new features and game-expanding content including more cars, deep performance customization, a new world region and a co-op pursuit mode” soon enough, to keep the game worth it’s purchase, and to increase the player base.

EA also announced that ALL players will have full access to the game from now on, FOR FREE. They now have a halo above their heads.

“Need for Speed fans have played a critical role in making Need for Speed World a success. Fan feedback has helped shape every aspect of the experience – whether it’s the creation of a new feature or improving polish and progression,” said senior producer, John Doyle.

“We’re excited to open the gates so that every Need for Speed World player now has free access to all current and future content including new modes, cars, features and more.”

Says reviewer Russell Barnes, “While you’re supposed to be able to open up the game without spending real cash, that’s far from true, to the degree that the game can’t really be classified as F2P at all. For example, non-paying customers cap-out at level 10,” Barnes continues, “meaning only basic Tier 1 cars and challenges are available. In classic MMO terms this is nothing more than a free trial. If you play it right, you’ll cap out in a couple of days meaning you’ll need to buy a Starter Pack from EA which opens up the game and grants you a wedge of the micro-transaction cash known as ‘Boost,’

“Top this off with the fact that certain items are only available to buy with Boost anyway (things like renting better cars, giving yourself a three day 25 per cent XP or cash boost and so on) and you’ve got a very imbalanced economy.”

The new racer will have many RPG elements to it, such as leveling up, earning new cars and power-ups, and more.

You can play the game in two ways, one of which is the free client which only lets you level up to level 10, while the called the Starter Pack will cost you $20, and will allow you to reach level 50, earn new power-ups and obtain things like Double XP periods or even rent cars.

Those who pre-order Need For Speed World will get access to the game 7 days earlier (July 13) and they will also gain increased XP until the official release of the game on July 20.
