After releasing recently for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 since early August, the Nemesis DLC for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts will be heading to the PC and PlayStation platforms in the first week of September. North American users will be seeing the DLC on September 2nd while European players receive it on September 4th.

The Nemesis DLC is the final map and content pack for the first person shooter. It adds four new maps, namely Goldrush, Subzero, Dynasty and Showtime. The Extinction campaign also receives its final episode that sees you trying to protect citizens and fend off the alien threat once and for all.

The next game in the series will be Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games, and it will be out this November. It will mark the first Call of Duty game to be developed with the PS4 and Xbox One in mind (though previous gen versions are in development at High Moon Studios).

Fixes, balances and other changes prepare fans for the upcoming DLC.

Infinity Ward is getting ready to roll out the Nemesis DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts today but before that, a new update has arrived for Xbox and PC users.

Some of the notable changes include buffs to the Juggernaut, which now has a 15 percent increase movement speed, 5 percent increased support movement speed and a focus perk for Assault/Support Juggernauts. In the Extinction mode, Engineers will now be able to fire pistols while repairing the drill and no longer take damage from traps. There are also some balances made to the Death Machine and Feral Vision, the latter which no longer displays a coloured overlay.

There are a few Xbox One exclusive fixes as well such as a crash that occurs on Tremor with certain player models and a segregated matchmaking warning to low reputation players. The update is already live for PC and Xbox (check the full patch notes here) with other platforms to receive it shortly. Stay tuned for when the Nemesis DLC goes live later today.

Get ready to go dark, Ghosts – Infinity Ward has announced that the last DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts, namely Nemesis, will release on August 5th. It will be out first for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 with other platforms to follow shortly after.

The Nemesis DLC will four new maps: Goldrush, an abadoned gold mine with mine carts that let you traverse quickly across the map (along with a field order for setting a pack of wolves on your enemies); Subzero, a Canadian submarine base with a three lane design and horrific entity that is unleashed upon completing field orders; Dynasty, a Chinese village with gardens, mountains and a lakeside view that becomes the backdrop of jets and explosions; and Showtime, a remake of Modern Warfare’s Shipment map that is meant for close quarters combat.

Then there’s the final chapter in the Extinction campaign, titled Exodus, where you’ll need to stop the Cryptid army from taking down the last base of human resistance. Nemesis will cost $14.99 if you don’t have the Season Pass. What are your thoughts on the content thus far? Let us know below.
