Sony’s released a new trailer for Patapon 3, and have launched a brand new website and released a new trailer for the game.

The new trailer looks pretty neat and there’s also a new mini-game over at their website which is fun to pass time with.

The game’s due out in April for PSP.

Treyarch’s community manager, Josh Olin has confirmed that a new Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer will be landing next week, which he describes as being pretty awesome and unique.

He said via a tweet that he has seen a rough cut of the trailer already and it’ll be released next week.

We’ve 8 new Silent Hill: Downpour screenshots and they look really good.

Most of the screenshots feature the game’s hero exploring the foggy areas of the game and the effects on offer are really solid.

Silent Hill is heading for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.

IO Interactive’s working on an unannounced “AAA” title right now, seven job listing’s for the developer’s revealed.

It’s citing this project as being one of its “most exciting projects” in the developer’s history.

The listing searching for a new “Lead Character Designer,”, revealed that the team is working on this new title.

Here’s the blurb:

“We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team as Lead Character Artist to complete one of the most exciting projects in IO Interactive’s more than 10 year history in videogames and play a major part in the games we have in the future pipeline.”

What could it be? Maybe, just maybe, a bald assassin with a barcode behind his skull might have the answer to that!

We’ll have to wait and see for now.

Criterion’s announced three brand new DLC packs for NFS: Hot Pursuit.

The first pack will see its release as soon as next week.

Armed and Dangerous will be releasing next Tuesday and feature two new game modes – Most Wanted and Arms Race.

Most Wanted is basically a chase where cops get chase down a specific racer while others try to protect him. Arms Race, as the title suggest, is a race where you’ll have access to weapons. Three new trophies will accompany the pack and it’ll cost 560 MS points or €6.99.

The second pack is a DLC car pack which will come with Cop and Racer versions of Lamborghini Diablo, Countach and Sesto Elemento. It’ll also include 10 new events and four new trophies for you to bag.

Same price as the above pack.

The final DLC pack, aptly named Porsche Unleashed will come with three brand new Porsche cars, 82 Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 959 and 911 Speedster, 10 new events and four new trophies. It’ll also be priced as the earlier two DLC packs.

A youtube user has uploaded three minutes of raw Resistance 3 footage for the world to enjoy.

We’re just serving as a medium of letting you witness the awesomeness. The footage features a level in the midst of a desert and has you shooting Chimera scum, right, left and centre.

Four new The Elders Scroll 5: Skyrim screenshots have made their way into the hands of a dude, who’s upload them for all to view.

Needless to say, the game is looking very good and any fan would enjoy the screens.

The game releases in November this year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

We’ve 3 new Batman: Arkhum City screenshots and they look simply spectacular.

The screens feature Harley Quinn and the Bat himself, gliding down into the city in one and taking cover in another.

They look really amazing and has made us all the more excited for the game.

Arkhum City releases later this year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Following last year’s successful Kirby game, Nintendo’s decided do a 1up on us.

They have announced that a new Kirby game is in development for the Wii by Hal Laboratories.

Nintendo released the first Kirby game last both in Japan and US, however the game will get a Europe release on Feb 25 this year.

Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek has informed CVG that they are “discussing” about the possibility of developing a new TimeSplitters game.

He told them that Timesplitters 4 might be a possibility in the future:

“Yeah, we have been discussing it, but nothing has been confirmed yet, so let’s see after Crysis 2,” he said.

Crytek, who bought out the devs of the series, Free Radical in 2009 after the studio went into administration feels “very confident” about the team and thinks they can help make Crysis 2 a Meta 90 game:

“I love working with our UK friends,” Yerli said. “The team has been performing up to the quality bar easily. Our thinking was that the team had done 80-85 rated games, and we thought that with the right technology, IP and global IP direction they could reach the 90 barrier. I’m very confident that they can do that.”

Make it happen Crytek, we would love to see a new Timesplitters.
