Dark Souls delayed by a week in Japan

Spiritual successor to 2009’s brilliant RPG Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, which was supposed to release in Japan on September 15th, will now release on September 22nd.

From Software they’ve delayed the game due to “various circumstances”, but have given no further details.

Dark Souls will also release in North America and Europe on October 4 and October 7 respectively, for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It hasn’t yet been confirmed if these regions will see a delay as well.

New Xbox 360 Arcade?

Microsoft seems to be planning on launching a new model of the XBox 360 Arcade in Europe, according to the listings on Amazon.de.

The listing say that a “4GB Xbox 360 Arcade System Bundle” is due for release on August the 20th and it will cost €149. After that, the listing disappeared and that page hasn’t been seen online since.

After the release of Xbox 360 Slim, Microsoft said they might be looking at relaunching a new Xbox 360 Arcade model in the US to meet the demands of the public.
