The first benchmarks for Nvidia’s upcoming GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 are now out- using the 3DMark11 performance benchmarks, VideoCardz have gone ahead and benchmarked Nvidia’s next generation GPUs, due to be unveiled tomorrow.

These new cards are marked by the 8GB of GDDR5X memory (the first time Nvidia has offered 8GB as standard on its flagship computer GPUs- previously, this option was only available to mobile options), clocked at 2500MHz, which can provide a theoretical memory bandwidth of a staggering 320GB/s. This is the kind of thing that will probably make the GTX 1080 the go to GPU for most PC gamers of choice.

You can check the comparison benchmark chart for the GTX 1080 (and the GTX 1070 as well) for yourself below. The cards are due to be properly and officially unveiled tomorrow, so expect to have more concrete and final information on just what it is that they can do then.
