According to a report sent by Bethesda, Fallout: New Vegas has been the top selling  title for the month of October on both consoles and PC.

NPD reports that robust sales of Fallout: New Vegas made it the highest grossing title in October, measured by dollars, across all platforms.

“We recognize that there are many high-quality games that come out during this time of year,” said Vlatko Andonov. “We couldn’t be more pleased at how well the game has been received and we want to thank our fans for their overwhelming support of the game.”

Earlier reports suggested that Bethedsa had shipped 5 million copies of the game to retailers.

Looks like most of them ended up getting sold!

Fallout: New Vegas is out now for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Expect the first DLC pack (Dead Money) to release very soon.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4:  Episode One was the bestselling PSN game in the month of October, zooming past Deadliest Warrior: The Game and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light as they sat on second and third respectively.

Looks like SEGA has managed to revive the Blue Hedgehog with its latest game.

The new issue of LEVEL is out on stands now and it seems someone’s got all the review scores rounded up.

Fable III, Vanquish and New Vegas each got a  solid 8/10 while Medal of Honor got a rather disappointing 6.  There’s a whole lot of more reviews out there and we got the scores of all of them rounded up below –
