Octopath Traveler is a role-playing game in which players can choose to play as one of eight adventurers at the start. Each of these adventurers have their unique storylines and regardless of who you pick at the start, you can go on to explore all of the characters’ stories as you will be recruiting these other characters into your party as you travel through the game’s open world.

The game features a turn-based combat system and combat in the game is an absolute delight and has a lot of depth to it. At a given time, you can have up to four members in your party, and this allows you to try out different combinations with the different adventurers. Apart from the main stories of the eight adventurers, there are also side activities and side quests to find and complete in the game’s open world.
