Oddworld Inhabitants have confirmed that the PS3 HD remake of Oddworld: Strangers Wrath will be released via the PlayStation Store ‘this summer’.

The remake will naturally get an HD makeover, but will also include updates such as re-mastered dialogue, additional content and Move support.

“Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is the first project in what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship. Having the chance to update this great title and release it on PS3 is just a brilliant opportunity, not least for us, but for the fans too.” said developer Just Add Water’s Stewart Gilray.

Munch’s Oddysee will also get a PS store release in autumn.
