For all their size and majesty, some open world games aren't always what they are made out to be.

Open world games are a dime a dozen these days, but as fun as they are to play, there are a lot of problems that crop up time and time again. These things have been repeated so many times in open world games that they have almost become a cliche’. Before we move we wanted to let you know this is our opinion on the matter so there is a chance you may not agree with this list but we would love to know your thoughts on the same. With that being said here are the 15 worst parts you know exist in most open world games these days.

Frame Rate Issues, Especially On Consoles

There’s a lot going on in an open world, and that means that the consoles that render these experiences can’t always keep up. This results in poor frame rates which often make it much more difficult to get around the world, especially if there is a lot of action like in Just Cause 3. Every explosion on consoles would cause the game to chug, looking more like a slideshow than an epic adventure, or a game like Fallout 4 which initially had a ton of frame rate issues on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
