Marvel Heroes PAX 2012 Trailer: Daredevil Likes Keeping his Kitchen Clean

Gazillion Entertainment revealed a new gameplay trailer at PAX 2012 for it’s upcoming free-to-play MMO Marvel Heroes, featuring Daredevil. This came along with the announcement of other playable characters such as Punisher and Squirrel Girl (yes!).

But that’s not all. Gazillion have also announced that a Closed Beta will begin on October 1, 2012. Gamers who are interesting in signing up for the same and getting early access can check go here.

Designed by David Brevik, the main man behind Diablo 1 and 2, with a story by Bryan Michael Bendis, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to with Marvel Heroes.

Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes PAX Presentation Delves into Future of MGS

MGS creator Hideo Kojima has been a busy, busy man. After the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary Event, wherein tons of useless merch, a social networking game and the next friggin’ Metal Gear Solid were revealed, he’s been basking in the attention. But not really – Kojima has been going into overdrive to answer the myriad of questions surrounding Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes.

One of those outlets was at this year’s PAX, as Kojima engaged in a 25th anniversary discussion and presentation regarding the future of the Metal Gear series. Many things are touched upon in this 56 minute video (courtesy of IGN), a lot of speaking on the design philosophy and other upcoming additions to the franchise.

Suffice to say, Kojima wouldn’t just leave it at that, and we also get to see the 14 minute gameplay demo for MGS Ground Zeroes that’s been doing the rounds, garnering praise and just generally making people believe in hope, sunshine and rainbows again. Check out the video below.

2K Games’ PAX Prime 2012 plans detailed

2K Games have revealed their plans for their showing at PAX Prime this year. Borderlands 2 and XCOM will be leading the charge.

Hosted by the “trio of 2K” Greg, Sasha, and Ronnie2K, this year’s event adds a special treat for PAX Prime attendees. Giving fans the opportunity to actively participate, 2K will be adding a panel directly in front of their booth.

2K has also partnered up with the Kona’s Korner Production team, who will be on hand to ensure the event is covered in its entirety and streamed LIVE via 2K’s Twitch TV channel.

PAX Prime will be held at the Washington State Convention Center from August 31 through September 2, 2012.
