Each showcase promises plenty of announcements, world premieres, and other news to accompany the biggest month in gaming.

Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase are the two biggest attractions in June as far as gaming events go, but you can add a trio of other shows to the schedule. The Future Games Show’s Summer Showcase is set for June 6th at midnight PDT with “world premieres, exclusive trailers, and demo drops from a range of exciting studios.”

It’s followed by FGS Live From Los Angeles with a focus on “even more of the biggest games, direct from some of the Summer’s biggest events.” While it could obviously spotlight games from the main show, you have to wonder if any Summer Game Fest titles could also appear. After all, the latter does precede it.

If that wasn’t enough, the PC Gaming Show is confirmed for June 7th at midnight PDT, which should be immediately after the Xbox Games Showcase. You know the drill – world premieres, “exclusive announcements,” interviews, and so on. And as usual, it’s going to be a massive show with over 50 PC titles promised.

Of course, the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct and PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted remain on the cards for this year as well, so stay tuned for dates. While details are sparse on the Summer Game Fest showcase’s announcements, the Xbox show could offer release dates for Halo: Campaign Evolved (allegedly launching in July), Fable (still on track for Autumn), the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and Gears of War: E-Day.

The latter is getting a dedicated Direct after the main show with a gameplay reveal and other details, so a release date announcement seems inevitable. It’s currently rumored for the second half of the year, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it were also trying to avoid Grand Theft Auto 6.

Nightdive Studios, Devolver Digital and Sega are confirmed to appear at the showcase alongside exclusive trailers and announcements.

Tokyo Game Show is the next major trade fair to look forward to this month, with Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix, Sega, and many more slated to showcase their titles. However, PC Gamer is getting in on the action with the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, airing on September 28th at 9 AM PT.

Focusing on upcoming PC titles, with “exclusive” trailers and announcements, it promises appearances from Nightdive Studios, Devolver Digital and Sega. There will also be coverage from the show floor and interviews with various developers.

Tokyo Game Show runs from September 25th to 28th. Ninja Gaiden 4, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Nioh 3, Ghost of Yōtei, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, and many more will be playable or appear in some fashion.

An announcement for the next Forza Horizon is also allegedly on the cards, and we may see Nintendo finally reveal a release date for Metroid Prime 4. Stay tuned for full coverage when the event unfolds.

PC Gamer's annual showcase will feature announcements, world premiere trailers, and interviews for over 50 upcoming titles.

The PC Gaming Show, PC Gamer’s celebration of PC gaming, returns on June 8th. The showcase features over 50 titles, including exclusive announcements, developer interviews and world premieres. While the focus will be on “the best and most interesting games,” you can expect some hardware spotlights.

Timings will be revealed closer to the showcase’s date, but you can look forward to teases for the appearing titles in the coming months. Though it isn’t confirmed, it’s likely that Sean “Day[9]” Plott, Mica Burton and Frankie Ward could return as hosts. You can also probably expect its theme to connect to current technology trends (for better or worse).

And while it’s far too early for details, The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted is also returning later this year. The show also features new game announcements and trailers, though the main goal is outlining the publication’s Top 25 Most Wanted titles for the coming year. As always, stay tuned for more details and updates.

The event will feature announcements, updates, and developer interviews for over 50 games.

Summer is right around the corner, which means we’re entering the time of year when major showcases and events will reveal new details on upcoming games. Another one of these shows has now been confirmed.

PC Gamer has announced that the PC Gaming Show will be returning for its 10th anniversary on June 9 at 1 PM Pacific. We don’t know what the showcase’s runtime will be, but it has been confirmed that over 50 games will be featured, with new announcements, world premieres, and developer interviews promised. The showcase will be streamed across a number of platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Steam, and Bilibili.

Several other events have also been confirmed for June, including the Xbox Games Showcase, Ubisoft Forward, and Summer Game Fest. Meanwhile, leaks have claimed that Sony also has a PlayStation-related event planned for May.

PC Gamer's annual E3 event returns with Sean Plott as host.

The PC Gaming Show, PC Gamer’s annual E3 presentation, will be returning this year. The event will take place on June 11th, 3 PM PST and can be viewed on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube and Steam. All segments, interviews and updates will also be available through PC Gamer’s official site. Sean “Day[9]” Plott will return to host and entry to the event is free (though tickets can be reserved here).

Not counting LawBreakers, which crashed and burned imminently after release, last year’s PC Gaming Show saw some decent titles like Griftlands announced. This year could be even more intriguing with potential information on upcoming PC releases. Is it too much to hope for updates on games like The Bard’s Tale and Wasteland 3 from inXile Entertainment? It’s probably more hopeful to expect Valve’s Artifact to be showcased.

While not quite as big as the pressers from Bethesda, EA, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft and Square-Enix, the PC Gaming Show usually offers a nice side-attraction for PC-centric players. E3 2018 will be taking place in Los Angeles on June 12th to 14th.

During the PC Gaming Show yesterday at E3 2017, Tripwire Interactive announced that Killing Floor 2 would have a new event going live today. Summer Sideshow is a seasonal event that will run for one month and includes a new map Tragic Kingdom, more than 50 cosmetic items and some carnival games.

To help new players get acquainted with the game, Killing Floor 2 will actually be free to play for the entire week starting today. If you decide to stick around, hopefully with the discount offered on the game, then you can try out The Weekly Outbreak.

This presents a new challenge each week like headshots-only, shrinking enemies (that can also shrink you if you’re not careful) and much more. Players will have two months of Outbreaks to look forward to.

What are your thoughts on the new content in Killing Floor 2? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more news from E3 2017.

Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of War made an interesting appearance at the PC Gaming Show with The Blade of Galadriel. This is the open world action adventure title’s first DLC and introduces a playable female Elf Altariel. Check out the cinematic from the DLC below.

As an assassin, Altariel has been sent by Galadriel to investigate Talion. The fact that she can see the Celebrimbor is intriguing, even if not much other information was revealed about the DLC. At least it will have it’s own story to play through.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is a much larger adventure than Shadow of Mordor. The Nemesis system has been expanded to the whole world so along with recruiting Orcs to your side, you’ll be leading armies in assaulting Keeps. This means siege battles, controlling drakes and an epic boss battle against the Keep’s leader after several stages of assault.

After a short delay, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will launch on October 10th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Thoughts on the first DLC? Let us know in the comments.

Will cost $30 with an open beta on June 30th.

Boss Key Productions’ LawBreakers will be releasing on August 8th for PS4 and PC as per creator Cliff Bleszinski at the PC Gaming Show. It will retail for $30 though PS4 players would need PlayStation Plus for multiplayer.

LawBreakers will also have a public beta on June 30th for PC. If you’re curious about what’s in store, you can check it out then. Pre-orders go live on June 13th for Steam and the PlayStation Store.

The game itself is a return to fast-paced arena combat but with a mix of objective play and different heroes. The setting comprises of a war between the Law and the Breakers. Each side has heroes with different specialties for seven classes in total.

The hallmark of the gameplay is the presence of gravity anomalies, which allows players to float and fly around in zero gravity. It’s a lot crazier than it sounds.

What are your thoughts on LawBreakers releasing this August? Let us know in the comments below.

Also, dynamic vaulting.

Hit online sandbox survival shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be heading to Xbox One in 2018 with support for Xbox One X but in the meantime, it will continue to be refined on PC. Creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene appeared on the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017 to talk about how developer Bluehole was improving the game.

Dynamic vaulting is one such example and players can now climb up walls, onto buildings and even jump through windows. Greene also noted that a new gun, the OTs-14 Groza (a 7.62 bullpup hybrid SMG), will be coming up. Furthermore, you can expect some interesting weather to roll in during matches.

There will also be two new maps, one set in a desert and the other close to the Adriatic Sea with a large cosmodrome. Players can also look forward to a full 3D replay system so that you can watch things from multiple angles. Obviously this presents a lot of potential for creating Machinima and other video contnet.

What are your thoughts on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds? Let us know in the comments below.
